There have been times that I hate it. Sometimes I need a break from it. In addition to MFP, I also use an app called YouFood. It's for logging meals just by taking a picture (no calorie counting). It's like an Instagram just for food. You follow people, and other people follow you. It's inspiring and keeps you accountable…

Lots of good advice here. I will add that I'm not a huge fan of cardio either, but I find that I don't mind it in the form of hiking (trails, hills, stairs). The great outdoors is a great motivator, and I'm taking advantage of the good weather when and while I can. I also do body weight exercises and resistance training.

Also, cook more meals at home. Meal prep a bit if it helps. And plan ahead for better options when eating out.

When you're really ready to make changes, none of that will matter. No excuses will get in your way. That doesn't mean that you can't occasionally indulge or have a few bites but not daily.
