  • I have joined many weight loss groups and most of them say that the brown basmati rice is one of the best. I find it has a really nice taste over long grain brown rice as well. RIce is not so bad for you on its own. Its the flavored rice with chicken bouillon etc in it which ends up hiking your sodium.

  • Thank you Hearts_2015....I will check that out. I am really enjoying MFP...lets me see how much sodium , fat etc that I am consuming and easier to identify my problem areas.
  • Thank you Noel_57....i dont use the extra calories because it just cant be right. I only take in 1500 calories a day and when i add the calories i burned off according to my Fitbit...MFP says I can eat 2,000 more calories...lol I will look into it more
  • Thank you for your reply. Congratulations on losing 63lbs. That is amazing! Do you exercise as well? MFP wanted me on 1596 calories and I adjusted to 1500 which has been working for me. I have lost 11lbs in a month but have a long way to go.
