I’ll add you. I also have struggles with PCOS & Insulin Resistance.

Let’s be friends! I just celebrated my 34th birthday on Monday. I’ve been on the app since June 2016, I was 434 pounds, 5’8. I lost 101 pounds as of June 2017, I was 333 pounds. Then I did what I said I would never do... I fell right off the wagon during the summer! Or more appropriate I jumped off. I was busy buying a…

Good morning and welcome. I’ve always found it helpful to connect and have friends who share struggles as well as triumphs thru this process. Feel free to add me.

Let’s be friends! I’m in the same boat!

Same here! Back at it and ready to motivate!!!

Ugh I feel the pain, I worked hard for a little over a year to lose 101 pounds. Then over the summer I purchased a house and went on 2 vacations. I've gained a little over 20 of those pounds back. But enough is enough back on track now!

I usually go for a 2 miles walk.

Exercise after dinner. Then you'll be tired and want to go to bed early and no eating.

Fellow PCOS here. I've found that lower carb works well. As well as consistent exercise. If I don't work out I don't lose weight.

Hubby & I were the same! He gained 16 I gained 12. We lost within week or two. Just get back on track.

Yeah you will realize how seriously off you were at estimating amount of food

I suggest doing swimming. It burns a ton of calories and is less stressful on your body. Also start out doing some Zumba right at home. Just do the movements you are comfortable with and work your way up from there.

Love love love my Apple Watch, started with Series 1 last June then upgraded to Series 2 because I often do swim workouts as well. Great to keep track of daily movement, calories for specific workouts etc. It's good to have friends that you can share data with to keep you motivated and give you a little competitive drive!

I'm down 70lbs & Hubby is down 112lbs, we still have a ways to go, but keeping at it!!!

Dealing with same issue. Try no dairy Creamer. Less calories

I hear you on that frustration! Leading up to thanksgiving I was down 2-3 pounds then back up and back down. Then I took it easy during holiday season and gained 10 pounds. After New Years I motivated back into routine and was able to drop 10 pounds but went right back to up and then down again
-
Ugh same here, basically went off diet plan around Thanksgiving and just got back to being serious. Life happens and it's okay to enjoy a vacation. Luckily I only gained 5 or so pounds in that time. Back to the grind, after losing 67 pounds in 6 months it's frustrating to not see the numbers dropping as quickly as I'd…

Congrats on deciding to make a change! You can do it! My husband and I started a little less than 6 months ago. He went to doctor wanting a clearance to start exercising. That appointment changed everything! His weight was at 504 pounds. He was basically diabetic and possibly interested in weight loss surgery. I plead with…

Getting back into a 4 or 5 day a week treadmill workout for 35 minutes. Exercise for me is a key to losing weight. As far as eating I'm with you on the cutting carbs. With my PCOS this is so important. I usually roll up my meat for lunch time. I started to slide and have a little soda here and there in the last 2 weeks,…

Kellogg's Cracker Chips are really good. Only 120 calories for 25-30 chips!
