B) All right trying this one more time. I think it cut short every time I added emoji. Challenge is to take a walk outside today.

Why do my posts get cut short ?

To me it’s therapeutic to look back at photos of myself before. I say damn, I’ve made such progress. It makes me motivate that much harder to never go back. My don’t wanna go back photo is below.

Body pics, I actually didn’t take one til I had lost about 35 pounds. (Gained 25 or so back last summer/fall that I’m working on losing

About 100 pound difference

My hubby was in same position and we changed everything, started counting calories, walking, drinking only water. Moderation is key, as was mentioned above. He was able in 6 months to lower all his numbers to healthy and no longer be close to needing meds or diabetes. Lifestyle changes will make all the difference.

Big goal 234. Which would be 200 pounds less than start. Will re-evaluate then. Small steps, meanwhile, I’m trying to get back to 333 which is where is was at the beginning of summer. I have about 25-30 pounds from that. From there I wanna get under 300, then take it 25 pounds at a time. No reward system.

Positive vibes today!

I don’t add the cheese until after I use the electric beater for a couple of minutes.

Now I struggle with not breaking the yolks! I got 2 okay for my husband’s this morning. Then changed it up for mine. I added Strawberries and some sugar free syrup.

I sat there whisking the damn things for 10 min. Finally whipped out the hand mixer and voila! Perfect.

You don’t need the gym to lose weight. I lost 101 pounds and my husband lost 130 in about a year and we never stepped foot in a gym! Better eating, portion control, walking and some Zumba in the living room at home.

Goal for this coming week is to workout 3-4 times. Which has been difficult with legit arctic tundra that VT has been these last few weeks. No more excuses. Gonna have to get back to my Zumba til I can make it to pool.

Happy Saturday All! I just saw question of the week. I just watch my calories and try not to go too crazy on carbs/sugar as I’ve been told that will help with PCOS.
-
Yeah I’m into more talking and opinions and feedback. Always looking for new food and recipes ideas, as well as people sharing what is working for them. Weekly results good or bad.
-
I’m back and pushing forward. First goal is to get back to where I was and continue from there. Would love like minded friends along the way. I log and post daily.

Hello! I’m Nicole, 34 from Vermont. I started at 434lbs In June of 2016. Made it to 333 in 1 year, then I slacked during summer and fall and gained about 30 pounds back.

Congrats

I switched from white to whole wheat, limited pastas, no soda, more water, lean meats like chicken, fish, turkey, fruits and veggies. Started by walking for 30 min, then bumped to 60 min. Zumba in my living room. Pretty simple stuff.

I was diagnosed with PCOS/Insulin Resistance over 10 years ago. I really only got serious about losing weight about 1.5 year ago. I was able to lose 101 pounds in a little over a year. But then I slacked this summer and fall and gained about 30 pounds back

Starting again at 360.

Hi all! Feel free to add me. Starting Weight June 2016 - 434 Weight in June 2017 - 333 Was totally off routine all summer and fall

Have you tried Zumba? I’ve done it for about a year and a half. Free and in the comfort of my own home. Feel free to look up my playlist on YouTube. Search nicolevt83, it’s called Zumba Zumba. Just do what you can and if you aren’t comfortable or can’t do something just keep moving and modify it for yourself. Good Luck

That same thing happened to me the first time I was working on losing weight. Once I lost 75, I stalled for quite sometime. I tried some different tactics but none of them really worked. I adjusted my calorie goals and exercise and things began to move and lose more. But it took like 3-4 weeks. Trust me when I say I wanted…

I really enjoyed reading this! Thanks

I’ve been on MFP since June 2016. Initially lost 101 pounds in a year. Slacked this summer and gained 30 pounds back. But I’m here and working back at it. Still have much more to lose. Feel free to add me! Starting weight - 434 Lowest weight - 333 Current Weight - 361.2 Goal - 225 (We’ll see from there)
