Losing weight with PCOS/Insulin Resistance

Hey guys, I've had weight loss success in the past but it was extremely slow. This was with eating less calories and working out 5x a week: I lost roughly 35lbs in a year(12 months). This was before I was diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance. Trying a different approach with higher protein and lower carbs this time to see if my weight loss is faster, I still have about 70lbs to lose I'm just hoping I can accomplish that in a shorter time span. Does anyone have PCOS and/or insulin resistance that knows of any tips or tricks?
