Losing weight with PCOS/Insulin Resistance

Hey guys, I've had weight loss success in the past but it was extremely slow. This was with eating less calories and working out 5x a week: I lost roughly 35lbs in a year(12 months). This was before I was diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance. Trying a different approach with higher protein and lower carbs this time to see if my weight loss is faster, I still have about 70lbs to lose I'm just hoping I can accomplish that in a shorter time span. Does anyone have PCOS and/or insulin resistance that knows of any tips or tricks?

Weigh everything you eat and log everything you consume with correct entries (no generic or homemade). Lower carb is best for PCOS so you are on the right track. No special tips or tricks to weight loss. Consistency is key.1

low carb didnt work for me if i believed in the PCOS needs low carb id of gave up long ago. Just saying. Everyone is different1

I was diagnosed with PCOS/Insulin Resistance over 10 years ago. I really only got serious about losing weight about 1.5 year ago. I was able to lose 101 pounds in a little over a year. But then I slacked this summer and fall and gained about 30 pounds back0

I switched from white to whole wheat, limited pastas, no soda, more water, lean meats like chicken, fish, turkey, fruits and veggies. Started by walking for 30 min, then bumped to 60 min. Zumba in my living room. Pretty simple stuff.0
