I step on the scale several times a week- and only report my findings if I lost something.

Noticing how my body has changed shape is a pretty big one for me. I am getting muscles in my shoulders and arms, and my legs are looking thinner. Not perfect- but getting better.

I quite enjoy coffee... and I'm right on track with my weight loss. I also use cream and stevia. Like previous posters said- I just account for it in my calorie allotment. I don't think it affects my efforts any more than other items of the same caloric value.

I really hate it when people think it's okay to say things like that. I was wine tasting this weekend and I had someone tell me I should be able to drink more because... well- look at me! I was astonished!

I like to have a few pieces of fruit, some carrot sticks, a hard boiled egg, yogurt, and a granola bar. Sometimes I will take some Almond Milk to go too. I usually get Original Silk Almond Milk. I don't like chocolate or vanilla because I don't like to alter the flavor of whatever I'm making with it. I don't want vanilla mac and cheese, ya know? It's just the closest to cow's milk, so I prefer that.

Yeah, that just sounds hurtful and unnecessary. I would tell them exactly what you just said. You're the same person you were before, and if they wouldn't say those things to you when you carried more weight, what makes it okay to say now? Just because it's in the past doesn't mean it's safe to joke about.

I fill my 20oz water bottle when I get to work in the morning, and drink about 10 oz at a time. When I get up to go pee, I finish whatever is left in the bottle and refill it.

I'm about 150 pounds overweight, and just starting out. I have a long way to go in my journey, and can use any little bit of support and encouragement I can get. I am also an avid reader and enjoy reading my friend's blogs to find advice and offer support.
