Being too heavy to weigh myself on my old bathroom scale... then getting a new scale and seeing that I was over 300 lbs. It's funny how- as you gain weight your 'scary weight' changes. I remember when I was a teenager, telling my mom to shoot me if I ever get over 200 lbs. I plan to celebrate when I am under 200lbs again.…

I have over a hundred to lose, but I am more than happy to accept new friends!

The Anime fan, who speaks Japanese and knows several origami patterns by heart. :)

I'm also TTC. I have 120lb to lose to be the suggested BMI of 24. I have PCOS, insulin resistance, and hypothyroidism. The odds are against me, but I'm not giving up. I'm on MFP nearly every day, and always looking for like-minded friends. Looking forward to seeing you all around MFP. :)

Like previous posters said.... you need more water and more fiber. Fruits, Vegetables, Flax seeds...

I suppose it depends how well you take criticism from others. I've never been fond of the practice. ;) It sounds like you're getting enough criticism anyway, and for the wrong reasons. Keep your chin up- Only you know if you are eating and exercising the right ways and doing what your body needs to be healthy.

I go the other way... I would be pretty offended and hurt if someone said something to me about my weight. When I was growing up my Dad would make comments about what I ate and make a big deal about things like that... it didn't stop me from overeating- it just made me dislike my Dad. Comments about weight loss are much…

I am 29 years old, 120lbs overweight, married, childless, and TTC with PCOS. I would love more friends who can relate to any of this- if anyone else is looking for a friend. I am on MFP pretty much every day. I try to offer encouragement and advice to my pals.

You click on their name, (under their picture) then click on their name again. This will open their profile page, then you click 'add as friend'.

I am also afflicted with PCOS, and trying to lose weight. I am more than willing to add folks in similar walks of life (and dieting/fitness).

I am familiar and like all of those songs. Sounds like a good list.

Impressive. Way to go!
-
Hahah! There are plenty of conversations I could have dubbed out with music and been much happier with. hahah! I love it!
-
It's very pretty, but I don't think I could exercise to it. ;)

Is there something else you guys do when you work out? Do you read? Watch TV? Work in silence?
-
Ooh, I do like Skillet. I may have to tap into that for my playlist

I know others have already said it- but I think it's worth saying again. You were/are gorgeous, and that guy was an idiot. Doesn't sound like he deserved to have intimate relations with you, if you ask me. :) I'm glad you're not in that relationship anymore, too. You deserve much better than that.

People would rather hear the story about the magical unicorn you met on a walk in the woods that gave you magical beans that instantly transformed you into a super-hero body. ;)
-
I think someone is a nut job any time they tell me my body is wrong and they are right about something. I'm a huge advocate for listening to your body.

I have wondered this myself, since I have over a hundred pounds to lose. The general consensus that I have gathered is that drinking a lot of water and strength training are the best things you can do. Water re-hydrates the body- the skin is an organ and requires water to heal itself. Strength training helps build muscle…

I am 29 years old and trying to lose an additional 110lbs or so (already lost 40). My weight-loss goals are a little heftier, and I'm a little older- but I'm always looking for pals. Totally up to you, obviously.

Happy Birthday!

I have a love-hate relationship with Pillsbury croissants. I like watching them bake. I like eating them... but I hate the frightening experience of opening the can. *Shudder*
-
Sounds suspenseful! :)
-
I was told a watched pot never boils. Was I lied to, Or do you start watching it once it is already boiling?
-
I enjoy watching food bake... particularly things that puff over time.

Only of the downward variety.
