Why, thank you!

I have been sitting here trying to think of something fun to say to contribute... and realized that I must be perfect for this group because I couldn't come up with anything.

Evenings are tough for me too. The only thing I can think to suggest (other than saving calories for it- like everyone else said) is just to do something else to distract yourself. I find that idle minds shift to food... at least mine does. So I am better off getting up and exercising or painting or something. If I sit and…

I have 110 lbs to lose still. Always looking for good MFP friends if anyone wants to add me. I'm on pretty much every day. Good luck to everyone on their journey to better health!

Yeah, I find that sweet things like that in the morning wreak havoc on my whole day. Wakes up my sugar dragon. :D

At my local grocery store it costs $1.00 for a cup of coffee and a donut. A large apple usually costs more than that. It makes it hard to choose the healthy option when it costs more (and doesn't taste as sweet;). What I try to remind myself is that the healthier stuff may cost more now, but the medical bills for diabetes…

I quite enjoy the s'more flavored poptarts... but they are hard to fit into my diet. lol Probably because they are the devil. ;)

I was diagnosed with PCOS and insulin resistance... I also have hypothyroidism. Pretty much a triple threat for having any kind of chance at starting a family. Since I started MFP 6 months ago- I have lost 40lbs- I have lowered my prescription for my thyroid hormone replacement, and my sugar levels have dropped from…

I've replaced sugar with Sweetleaf Stevia in my hot tea and coffee. It takes a little getting used to.. but at least it's natural. I don't like the idea of lacing my drinks with chemicals to make them taste sweet.

:) It's a good song. It's always fun to have your home-state mentioned on the radio.

Like many of the other people responding before me have said- I fast through breakfast and have a late lunch (usually 1 or 2 in the afternoon) I find that the biggest benefit is that it keeps me from eating so much. If I eat early in the day like that, it wakes up my food cravings or something and I end up being hungry all…

"She grew up in an Indiana town Had a good-lookin' mama who never was around But she grew up tall and she grew up right With them Indiana boys on them Indiana nights"

Weekdays I do intermittent fasting. I don't eat until 1 in the afternoon. I like to have a smallish late lunch and then a large dinner. Weekends I like to eat breakfast on Saturday but that's sort of a weekly ritual with the husband. :)

This is the WORST! I'm glad it's not just me... And I'm excited to hear that weight-loss will help.

You totally should! Music is awesome, even when it's the beginning stages where you don't move your fingers quickly enough. :)

I'll bet you could surprise yourself if you sat down and painted something. Abstract isn't right or wrong.. it's just expressing how you feel and moving paint around. :)
-
Haha, it would be awesome... if I could. :) I got a ukulele for Christmas last year... I have watched tutorials on youtube and have been trying. I'm not great but I'm learning... slowly but surely- much like losing weight. haha!

Big Fat Positive. It's a term used often in forums for those trying to conceive. :)

Confession: I think Christmas would be more enjoyable if nobody expected presents/gave presents. I think the whole gifting aspect of Christmas is so stressful that it ruins the holiday.

THIS! I wear leggings with skirts and short dresses ONLY. Nobody needs to see my butt and lady business in THAT much detail. LOL!
-
That would be hard... to never feel full. I've found that it's a feeling that makes me happiest. So dieting can be pretty depressing sometimes. It forces me to deal with my feelings.

There's no coming back from 6000 calories.... Might as well try to forget the day ever happened and get back on the horse the next day. Haha!
-
That's the RIGHT kind of gain though. Muscle is great!
-
Yeah, pizza is my Achilles tendon.. that and brownies. If it sits out, I eat WAY more than I should. They are so delicious though... *sigh*

That's a good idea. I know it scares me when I start logging bad days. Mostly because I know I can burn about 300 or so on the elliptical pretty easily but when the food I'm eating is 1000 calories- there's no way I'm spending that much time at the gym. Takes a lot more time to burn 1000 calories than it does to eat them.
-
I'm not sure I'm even CAPABLE of eating a whole pizza anymore. I get pretty full after about three slices now... Not that I miss it. That moment of feeling so full you could throw up and then hiding the evidence of the box... no bueno.
-
Hm. I SHOULD log binges.. just to show me how ridiculous I'm being... but I am usually feeling naughty and don't log either.

I would love to be another 50lbs down in 5 months. I have about 110 left to my big goal, but I'm all for making smaller goals.
