I have peppers, broccoli and onions in my freezer. Everything else I buy on my way home everyday. That's the only way I have as little waste as possible. There are a lot of tricks for storing veggies and fruits posted on the internet.

Easier to plan. You can stick to your budget easier and have less waste. You can't eat the same bulk you do in 3 meals, so you will be forced to eat less.

Unless you are also doing keto... I take vitamins with my meal and it hasn't spiked my blood sugar. I do that because some vitamins are fat soluble.

"Used to" enjoy: Cheeseburgers & fries/onion rings/tots, pizza, biscuits and gravy, chocolate, chips with salsa, chili-cheese fritos, potato chips and dip, sandwiches, corndogs, ice cream, cake, and these strawberry crushed ice drinks where I used to be a barista. I'm glad I quit them.

I gained 30 pounds in a month before. It wasn't healthy food. I was eating fast food 3-4x a day. It would be a slower gain on 3500 calories. Hi. I started OMAD/Keto/IF a few days ago. I was just going to ask if I'm eating one meal a day, all 1500 calories, am I absorbing all of the protein and fat from that meal? Does anyone know?

I just started 20/4. I started reading The Obesity Code because Dr. Fung sounds pretty reasonable in some aspects. There are also videos of him on Youtube. People in the forum attack him yet I've heard him say in the book that too many calories is the proximate cause of weight gain, but not the ultimate cause.

Diet soda will make me gain weight. Don't eat at night or your body stores it as fat. Eating smaller meals helps you burn fat faster by upping your metabolism. If you toast bread it reduces the calories because it burns them off. I need to do situps to lose belly fat. ACV

I watch an autopsy done on someone who died of heart failure. It was very eye-opening and gave me the kick in the pants I needed. If you can stomach it I highly recommend it. It is on YouTube; just search "Obese Autopsy : The Post Mortem". Hope it works for you, and hopefully anyone else obese that watches it.
