Frozen raspberries (or any fruit), especially on shaved ice. Italian Ice. Dark chocolate. A lot of times it's nice to sip on a drink instead of eat something for desert. A nice tea with honey and lemon or a hot coaches is nice.

I mean, self-cannibalism can't be wrong when guac is involved... Right? :p

You don't have to do, know or teach crossfit to accomplish that. In fact, I'm aware of quite a few people, including my partner, who have been seriously injured doing Crossfit for a variety of reasons ranging from poor technique teachings to pushing them too far too fast. When all you need is a weekend class to get your…

Lots of mashed potatoes and gravy and broth and soup. I tried chili and found that was a bad mistake when the small pieces of ground beef got caught in the sockets/holes where the teeth used to be. *shivers* Mashed pots and gravy was the best though. Filling, easy and never painful.

So, I try to change up breakfast every now and then. I'm a huge fan of breakfast casseroles! (Takes 5 minutes and I'm set for the entire week!) but this week I wanted to change it up! I hard boiled 12 eggs on the weekend. It makes life a lot easier to do a whole bunch at once. This morning I mixed half an avocado with…

There is so many great healthy snacks. Tonight I made a homemade jalapeno coleslaw - delish! I also love love love veggie medley I always make where I cook zucchini, tomatoes, onion, peppers, jalapeno and mushrooms in lemon and water with a little butter and season with pepper, garlic, parsley and red pepper flakes. I…

Action is putting it out there in the food supply and releasing it into the wild. We are currently taking action without complete information. You're just fine with the current action being taken without complete information. I'd prefer to have another action where we study this cause and affect on our microbiome and brain…

Then by all means continue to consume GMOs, but some of us believe this is a valid and crucial concern. If the very recent discovery of a heretofore unknown pathway into the central nervous system is hand waved away as "quantum mysticism", then this discussion has no further point.

I never said that. I said that up until last June it was completely "settled science" that there were no lymph vessels that reached the brain. Out of all of the observations of the human that we have done, all the dissections, all the looking at it through microscopes, all our imaging technologies and literally just last…

Largely the introduction of genetic trades from wildly different species such as taking the BT toxin production of certain species of bacteria and adding that to plans, so that hey generate their own pesticide. That's the most obvious example I can think of that could possibly have an affect on microbiome. I'm not as…

Hopefully, the below can clear up my concerns when it comes to GMOs and our intestinal micro biome. When I state GMOs, I'm talking about any and all that we consume. The original study that found lymph vessels in the brain, hence the bypass of the blood-brain barrier:…

I can see points with both sides. I can see why some believe it's safe and I can also see where concerns are coming from. I am wondering about a couple things. First, is there anything saying the GMO foods are not only safe, but also healthier and better for humans than the all natural/original counterparts? Second, and my…
