  • I'm in Louisiana too. I like to use ice wrapped with a bandanna and tied around my neck. It works like a radiator for your body. There are some specialty products similar to this available that you keep in the freezer until you're ready to exercise or work outside.
  • All of the suggestions about stretching and massage above are very good--especially in the morning before you start walking. Use ice after massage or at the end of the day. 20 minutes.
