Today, I had my very first non-family member notice that I'm losing weight. I'm down 23 pounds, but I was beginning to wonder if I still look the same since no one's said anything. Feels great and makes me want to keep going so everyone will see!

I, too, went from being warm all the time to very frequently chilly, and I'm only down 20 pounds so far. It's so interesting the ways our bodies react. Good thought about the iron!

Awesome work! I dropped almost exactly the same in my first five weeks (I started at 196 in January), and since then, it has slowed to more like 1-2 a week, and I suspect it will only get slower. What an awesome feeling it is a few hours after the fact, knowing it was there and you passed it by -- the sense of accomplishment for sticking to your goals is better than any cake! Great job not giving in!

Joseph's flaxseed lavash bread. 60 calories/6g of protein per serving, plus it's so soft and yummy. I use it to make wraps, as a base for a veggie "pizza," and even cut in strips and baked to dip in hummus. It's the one thing I never leave the grocery store without.

I have just been much more conscious of how much I put in my body.. logging and accountability does wonders for that!
