Why Spondypete? My name is Peter and I have a form of Rheumatoid Arthritis that is called Ankylosing Spondylitis. My (very good) Rheumatologist calls people with that disease Spondies and ever since she called me a Spondy in 2002, I have been calling myself SpondyPete. Your friend could have neuropathy, like I have, or she might have a blocked artery in her leg which restricts the circulation of blood in her lower leg.
