Have been nursing several injuries (calf and ankle) that have prevented me from competing in a 5k this weekend. However, this morning, I went out and ran and felt pretty good (not good enough to compete though). But it still felt great to run again!

I trim but dont shave them. I have blond hair so the hair isnt all that obvious anyway

One possible suggestion for a leg exercise would be the Romanian Deadlift. Look it up; does not require much/any movement of the knees. Excellent all-over exercise for lower body.
