  • Weigh-in Day! CW: 162.6 SW: 163. 2 PW: 162.8 Guys this past week has been one of (emotional) struggle for me, I'm not quite sure why. I think I may have a bit of re-entry anxiety. My first trip 'out' in the world Monday I went to Home Depot, walked around about 5 minutes, almost had a panic attack and had to leave. I…
  • I am lifting prayers for you and your family. What a nightmare to live through. You are a brave and loving soul.
  • Weigh in today - up a little, but very attributable to ^stress + \/ exercise. My eating never changes much. Next week should be better - I'll be immune and ready to rejoin the world! SW: 4/2: 163.2 PW 4/9: 162.4 CW 4/16: 162.8 Honestly, I was a little surprised it didn't go up much. I also haven't been a very good…
  • You have some awesome ideas! I also like to do squats, lunges or countertop pushups when I am waiting for things in the kitchen, like water to boil or something in the microwave. They can add up! I recently watched a Steve Harvey video about a 86 year old woman who lost 120lbs, and she just walks around her 1 bedroom…
  • I am a natural brunette, but now with a lot of grey in there, or I like to call it SHINY SILVER! For a long time I got highlights to kind of blend things together and lighten it up a bit. This picture in my profile now was when I tried a wash out purple dye at the beginning of the pandemic last March and it STILL shows a…
  • @cmhubbard92 - your before and after are so inspiring. The dedication to health and well being over such a long period of time is awesome! As for me, I am chugging along. Had a great day of yard work and celebrating my hubby's #62, even with a tiny piece of cake, while staying on plan. Balance is my mantra! Everyone -…
  • Weigh-in day for me: SW 163.2 PW 163.2 CW 162.4 I keep gaining and losing between this weight and about 165 all year, well, honestly the past four years. I'm trying to see the big picture - the trend is downward, and in the ten years I've been on MFP, I'm pretty much where I started weight wise, going from 49 years old to…
  • That is TOTALLY my pattern - I last three months and then quit for (at least) three. over and over again. Let's use this challenge and daily check-ins to bust through it this time, together!!! Any other tricks or advice welcome!
  • whew, finally feeling back to 100% post-vaccination, and only ten days left til life comes back! I did a nice evening walk yesterday and got 7167 steps for the day, so I will most likely make up for the deficit on Tuesday. All of you all talking about TOM makes me SO HAPPY to be done with that forever! However, the…
  • yesterday was pretty much a loss - fitness wise. I ended up with fever (101.6F), headache and body aches as a result of MAKING ANTIBODIES following my Covid vax on Monday afternoon. Happy to report I'm feeling much better today, Just a little achy and tired. back to business soon!
  • Got my 2nd vax yesterday and I am dragging a little today - mostly tired and achy though, not really sick. We get a paid vaccination day off, so I'm taking it to chill out. Also buffered some extra steps yesterday just in case today doesn't happen. Already I feel some of the tension and anxiety dropping away after a year+,…
  • Sounds like a really awesome trip - enjoy!
  • Thanks for fixing things up. I am sorry if I inadvertently messed with the wrong cells! I should have been more careful. In any case - glad you saved our bacon!
  • I am good at spreadsheets, @HASWLRS, so I went ahead and added you to the spreadsheet. I am pretty sure I did it right, anyway! You should be able to enter your goals and then track daily on there. If you run into any issues, tag me or @cmhubbard92
  • 6683 steps yesterday, between my regular walk and a LOT of yard/home projects. I'm still tracking, drinking water, and if I get my steps, exercising, but I think a little less spotlight on those may help me with consistency. This afternoon I'm off for my 2nd vaccine, then two weeks til I hug my mama!!!
  • Welcome Roz - you will love our supportive and encouraging group and I am happy to have you with us! @cmhubbard92 - I think I will do the step challenge only, since I'll be counting anyway. I didn't realize we could do just one part of the extra challenges. That sounds perfect for me for accountability. I'll add me to the…
  • So happy to be back and on track for 2021 thanks to these challenges and our amazing team! I'm opting out of the side challenge, but will still track my steps/exercise with my fitbit and mfp. Heading out for a walk now. For newbies, I'm Ann and I live on the Gulf coast of FL in my little empty nest home with hubby and our…

  • 3/31/2021 Tracked: yes Under: yes Exercise: yes Water: 80 Steps: 6522 I'm going to take a break on the accountability challenge for April but stay in the overall challenge. I am striving for a little more balance and starting to get a bit OCD on this with my 'must get an A' mentality. I gotta find the sustainable place, in…
  • WHOOOP! Time for the happy dance! 3/30/2021 Tracked: yes Under: yes Exercise: yes Water: 80 Steps: 5108 back on track and already got my walk in today!
  • Not my best day - only exercise was a little gardening I fit in at lunch time, and calories went over a bit (111) because hubby decided to swap plantains for sweet potato fries for our regular hamburger night. usually I add exercise to balance this meal, but work + meetings means that didn't happen. I did resist the salted…

  • I asked my husband because he does the research. We use one called TruNature that they sell at Costco. They also sell it on Amazon, but you want to find it closer to home so it doesn't get overheated in shipping. You want something between 5 and 25 billion living organisms. Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium…
  • I am finally on the downward track. I haven't really changed a whole lot, but I have started taking a probiotic per my husbands suggestion after he read a book on gut health. He swears that is making the difference. I don't know, but I'm going to keep taking it! 3/25/2021 Tracked: yes Under: yes Exercise: yes Water: 80…
