I have progrsssive/chronic autoimmune arthritis...welcome to the club? Anyway that phone call was super unprofessional. I would get a second opinion and then to a rheumatologist for treatment. As my doctor told my mother today "it is best and always better to treat (the) arthritis than not due to the long term consequences…

I have many autoimmune issues but psoriatic arthritis is what I fight the most. Med wise, I am coming down on a prednisone taper, I am back on methotrexate

I'm almost 30 (really excited about turning the dirty 30 for some reason?) and I like to workout because of all the feels! I know will have horrible body image if I weigh more than I do. I like seeing progress, more endurance, toned legs, gaining muscle, gaining confidence, etc. that is what motivates me. I also have…

At the moment I am addicted to rice cakes, lightly salted. They are 35 calories for one cake… Also, OP, salads can have hidden calories so just be careful!

Old thread I realize but if anyone wants to add me, feel free. Can use all of the body positivity and encouragement, etc.

Have you been checked gastroparesis sometimes abbreviated as GP? It's basically where the food you eat sits in your stomach instead of being digested at a normal pace leaving the patient with bloating, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, and constipation.

Yes. I have the flex, got mine from Amazon for around $80. I like that it can sync with MFP. Numbers motivate me and I like seeing my daily progress change from blue (active or in progress) to green (completed, go you!) this includes items like daily steps, calories burned, active minutes, total water drank, etc. I also…

I've donated blood many times and I can't remember if I was actively trying to lose weight at the time. Regardless drink A LOT of water prior and make sure you feel well nourished. Afterwards make sure to take a juice and or water and a few snacks after donating to combat the dizziness. Thank you for donating!

My steps has also stopped working. Or it will pick up on some steps but not all and then won't calculate the calories burned. Very frustrating. Tried adjusting it in MFP settings...followed the directions...can't find what they are telling me to do. Grrr

I try to not weigh myself daily because a) we can gain an absurdly amount of water weight in a given day and b) it becomes an obession and negative behavior for me. So! If I remember then I do so weekly.

I used to be on low dose chemo and dealt with nausea A LOT. here is what I found that worked for me -salt, like pretzels or kettle chips, eased it a lot - Sierra Mist -taking a nap! -phenergan, downside for you is that'll knock you out -zofran ODT (disintegrating tablets not the oral kind) -positive thinking!! -eating what…

I would love for people to help keep me motivated. I have autoimmune arthritis and sometimes I feel more exhausted and unmotivated than others...like right now for instance! I am looking to lose 30 to 40 pounds. I've already lost 10 or so. Please add me if you would like!

That's awful!! I'm so sorry he said those things and acted on them. People can be so so cruel BUT it sounds like you dodged a major bullet. Keep your head up high and keep doing YOU and what makes you happy!
