It was kinda funny because I quoted someone and it came out "fat *kitten*".

Keep it simple and don't overthink it. Eat the foods you like to eat within your calorie goal. Meal timing or frequency doesn't impact weight loss but can affect how well you adhere to your calorie goal.

Best thing that ever happened to me was when I stopped feeling guilty for eating something. If you have an overall nutritious diet, occasional sweets are just fine. There is no need to neutralize anything. If you went over your calorie goal just move on and try to plan for it next time.

Doing a 6 mile trail walk.

Went for a 6 mile trail walk today. My feet hurt and I'm oddly ok with it:).

Yes it's good. Thin crust and 120 calories for the whole crust. I have a pizza stone so it gets crunchy:).

Like there's no middle ground. It's so weird.

Because it happened to me, it was funny but I wouldn't think it funny if it happened to someone else but... Several years ago I had just started walking and I wear ear buds. When approaching someone I turn down the music to exchange pleasantries. One day while passing a group of teenagers I heard one say "look at that fat…

It's not all it's cracked up to be.

What do you binge on? Are there specific foods you can remove from the house and eat them only on occasion? For example I don't bring a big bag of potato chips into the house only one single serving when I want chips with a sandwich.

^^^also good point.

Vegans and vegetarians usually cut out meat for ethical, religious and some health reasons. If they say they are doing it for weight loss only then yeah that's restrictive and I'd give the same caution that it needs to be sustainable.

Many many times over 20 years, but I didn't know about my TDEE and I always went on unsustainable "diets". Now I know I have a certain amount of calories I can eat before weight gain and I now eat the way I want and like to eat. Meaning I'm not restricting any foods, nothing is "bad". Looking at it in this new way has…

Finding a sustainable way of eating is key to maintaining your weight loss. If it fits in your calorie goal having McDonald's once in awhile it certainly doesn't hurt, especially if it helps you adhere to your goals.

Make a tuna salad and scoop onto a half avacado.

Also it takes a few weeks for Fitbit to calabrate.

Exactly why I mentioned to be mindful of her calories:).

I've lost most of my weight so far by eyeballing. I weigh once in a while just to recalibrate my eyeballing. But thats just me:) I do lose weight faster when I weigh my food but I'm lazy I guess:). But maybe take the time to really look at the portions as you weigh because you will always have times where you will need to…

Have you tried plugging in your stats into mfp and sticking to that calorie allotment?
-
A lot of people have great success with Keto, especially with certain medical issues. I believe initial weight loss is a little faster but it averages out after 6 months or so. I think its important to mention that most experts agree that how you eat when losing weight is how you should eat to maintain your goal weight…
-
Can you pick something similar in the database? When I go out to eat I usually pick something similar in mfp database and add 1/4 portion to it. It hasn't stalled my weight loss, perhaps slowed it buy not being accurate but certainly hasn't stalled it. Yes stress eating can ruin a deficit.
-
But have you cut back enough? That was always my issue with maintenance. I knew to cut back and eat less I just didn't know how much less:). Did you plug your numbers into mfp and stick to your calorie allotment?
-
My favorite that fills me up but its not low calorie:( but perhaps you could amend to make it lower. Spicy Chicken Boca Salad - as big as my head lol. Your choice of lettuce for a salad Spicy chicken boca patty (veggie chicken) Red Onion Cherry tomatos 1/2 avocado black or kidney beans croutons flax or sunflower seeds…

Some use TDEE - a % like 15% or 20% depending on how much you have to loose. Others use mfp's method which is based off NEAT which excludes purposeful exercise that needs to be added back in an eaten. I should mention that most say the exercise calories are overstated so only eat back 50-75% of exercise calories. I plugged…

This is so true. My favorite salad I make is around 600+ calories that includes a veggie based protein, beans, seeds, avocado and my dressing is pretty low calorie.

Not only am I hungrier when I don't get 7-8 hrs of sleep I seem to make poorer choices re food and intake.

Years ago I went on Atkins and my blood work improved after a loss of 45 lbs. Fast forward many years later and my blood work improved when I went vegan and lost 50ish lbs. So for me just losing weight helped because those diets are completely different.
