I hired a strength trainer and he recommended dumbbells since I don’t live near a gym. I’m doing full body exercises 3x a week with only dumbbells. I also got the bow flex adjustable ones. I’m a shorter female so they are a tiny awkward at times but I’m getting used to them. I do squats, hip thrusters, overhead and floor…

I would like to see a bunch of pictures of others bullet journals on health/fitness. I’m thinking of starting one.

Try it for a couple of weeks or a month to give you a better idea and see. If you don’t see the scale move then you’ll know. I’m sure some days you’ll eat over 1200 and some days you’ll eat less. Calories are king however some are able to lose not counting by eating mindfully most can’t though.
-
I do 3 days at 1200, 1 day at 1000, 1 at 1300 and 1 day at 1500 (rounded). It doesn’t do anything special for weight loss but it helps me plan for my social life and eating out. And I’m losing as I should.

I switched to OMAD and sticking as close to my deficit as I can while not stressing and having what I want.

I bank calories through the week if I want to stay in a deficit otherwise I try to stay at maintenance calories. I’ve gone over but the thing is don’t let it derail you just get back on board the next day. This is basically a lifetime of watching how much we eat and occasionally eating over on special occasions is just…

Couple of things work for me that might work for you... 1. Big bags of chips (or anything I overeat) don’t come in my house. I plan for an individual small lunch size bag like lays for a tuna sandwich. 2. I eat a 500-600 calorie dinner and cutoff for eating is 5pm ish. Something mental about having a cut off time plus I…

@golfchess I thought it was going to be a fad diet where you could eat as many calories as you can in an hour. :)
-
Yes it’s worth it:) I needed a little more protein so I started as someone suggested here (sorry I forgot who you are but thank you) to mix premier protein drink with coffee. I add some cinnamon and warm it up and man it’s a good tasting latte:).

I thought you ate 1000 calories in an hour and I thought ROOKIE😂 Good burn.

I bought a weight guru at Target. It’s Bluetooth so you have to have the app open to record your weight. It syncs with Fitbit which syncs with mfp. I believe they have WiFi and cheaper version as well. Works good so far.

I’m a 7 1/2 sometimes an 8. I have never warn an 8.5 in my life but it was recommended to give me more toe room which never bothered me in my 7.5s. I had a somewhat successful walk with no heel slipping yesterday just some toes tingling so I’ll try to lace a little looser in the toe box area. Oh yeah I will do the heel…

Guilt was lifted when I realized as long as I was in a deficit and my overall diet is nutritious I can eat whatever I want. I just don’t eat it in large quantities or often. It was very freeing not viewing food as bad for me.

This works for me too. Side salad or steamed vegetables help a ton.

@jjpptt2 The new mizuno’s I bought are slipping all over top, heel and ankle. So I bought new asics with separate arch support insoles I put in. My left foot is the one that needs arch support or stabilization but it hasn’t bothered me old shoes, new shoes nada. However the guy at the pro shop said as I up miles I will…

Update: once on the trail slipping stopped but it seems the arch supports (I need for my left foot) is making me strike on the outer right foot causing some uncomfortableness. I also had some tingling on right 3 toes middle to pinky. I will try to lace differently and maybe loosen my laces towards the toes, I may have…

So after aynalysis I bought mizuno wave inspire since they noticed my left foot arch is collapsing due to by broken metatarsal a year 1/2 ago but they put me in an 8 1/2 I normally wear 7 1/2. Seemed to not slip I get home and go for my walk and it slips all over like a way to big shoe. Completely discouraged I go to the…

So I also don’t sleep well on large dinners and they make me ravenous in the morning. I eat at 10ish and 3ish. I do have between 500-600 calorie meals. It seems I naturally ate that way except on social occasions.
