Man Brenn I’m actually jealous. I’ve been down a week with some croopy cough and I didn’t wanna eat anything. I’m now on the upswing and was able to eat today. Seems appetite came roaring back lol.

YAY you!!!

I don’t restrict any food so I don’t really need a cheat meal. I do however cycle or bank my calories so I have a higher calorie day.

That last pic of your first post is stunning!

I "calibrate" my new scale by putting a 10lb dumbbell on it to see if its accurate. Leave it in the same place not on carpet and if you get a bad reading wait an hour try again without moving the scale. Some scales don't like being moved around I found.

This is a reason you could be tired as well. You are taking on by your words an "intense" workout schedule when you were just 3 weeks ago sedentary after work, you body maybe isn't used to it yet. Maybe you are doing too much too soon. Best of luck!

Retaining water from new workout, eating a salty meal or food/waste in the system can make you appear to gain weight. Especially if you are only weighing once a week you may not notice these daily ups and downs. Even though I know these things it sometimes messes with my head too. I have to just tell myself to trust the…

If you go on reddit (you don’t need an account to view) check out r/mealprepSunday quite a few folks do these types of breakfasts along with other types. I personally can’t get it together enough to meal prep so I haven’t tried yet.

“In 1519, Captain Hernán Cortés landed in Veracruz to begin his great conquest. Upon arriving, he gave the order to his men to burn the ships.” I donate my clothes (burn the ships) so I “can’t go back”. And if I do go back I deserve to spend the money getting new chubby clothes again:).

I believe MapMyFitness app counts steps, distance, route and time and it syncs with mfp.

I personally gained all my weight back when I stopped taking them because I relied on them to keep my appetite down and I didn’t really learn anything about calorie management, food choices for satiation etc. If you don’t get those figured out you may gain all your weight back.

I plan a fast food dinner. I cycle my calories or bank them so that I have a bigger calorie allowance on Wed. That’s my errand day and I’m wiped when I get home so I order a personal pan pizza (600c for cheese) I get a individual wine (small box type yes I’m a cheap wine drinker) and I make a small side salad. It’s a big…

I hear a lot of people that lose 100 lbs still don’t see it in the mirror. So I second the idea to take pictures and measurements.

My fitness coach allows me to eyeball as long as I’m consistently losing according to our plan. He used to post here a lot. I pull out my scale for some things once in awhile just to check or calibrate myself. I’m pretty good I tend to overestimate shredded cheese say it’s and ounce when it’s less and I underestimate salad…

Everyone has given you great advice. I also eat out a lot and I started asking for a to go box right away and put half my meal away and save for lunch the next day. Saves a little money. I’ve also started making better choices and sometimes I’ll order a side salad and share meals with my husband.

@mg07030 yes on the Big Island.

@FL_Hiker that’s beautiful. Thank you!

Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, beans, eggs, fake meat - (Garden, Benelovent, Boca), tofu, tempeh. My newest obsession is Starbucks double shot coffee with 20g protein (200 cal) to start the day.

There used to be a Fitbit group here on mfp that explains the difference that might explain it better than I can.

Sweet stuff just tastes good so naturally we are going to want to eat it. It’s not very satiating so we can eat a lot of it. This is what works for me... Plenty of sleep, water and nutritious foods. I don’t buy sweets for my home at all in large quantities. It’s either a small individual pack of kisses or similar max 200…

Look on reddit at r/mealprepSunday Tons of recipes there too.

This is the real answer here OP.

I eat at 10 and 3-4ish as that seems to be my natural hunger times so my brunch and dinner are about equal at 500 calories or so and it sometimes leaves room for a snack.

I'm not sure if you are on reddit but look at r/mealprepsunday. I've seen a ton of make ahead breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches you can refrigerate or freeze ahead of time.

This has happened to me on occasion. I just reduce my calories over the next few days by 100 or so. That keeps my average daily calories at a deficit. I particularly like eating out because I also come home with next days lunch, as portion sizes are huge now days.

I love huge big as my head salads with everything in it. I use the greek yogurt ranch dressing. My salads can get up to 600 with added avocado, cheese, beans and a boca chicken patty so I have to go very light on the dressing:)
