Thank you all for your responses I appreciate your insights. I was a active member here a couple years ago. I was successful in losing 40ish lbs. I’m not tied to the ups and downs of the scale on a daily basis. I allowed stressful events (family illness, broken foot) to derail my progress. I’ve tied food to the scale. When…

Maybe its just me but that doesn't look like 360 calories of avocado in that picture.

I scramble tofu like eggs with some taco seasoning for breakfast tacos.

I am crying my eyes out

Never mind.

I think bread just taste good and that's why you want more.

I use killer daves mentioned above but also bagel thins.

I personally would not eat half my daily calories in ice cream and chocolate. I don't even eat ice cream nor chocolate daily. I'm not sure how you can get enough nutrients in to sustain this if you are eating this daily. I would burn out fast. You might be able to get enough nutrients in 1000 calories and have one or the…

Oh don't forget to take a b-12 supplement.

I will 2nd this. I eat vegan meals several times a week and this is my favorite cookbook!

I personally think they are worth every penny...IF you get the right one. Sometimes just feeling them out to see if they are the right fit first is important though.

I've been diagnosed with Fibro as well... I've lost weight with no issues as long as I stay in a calorie deficit. I was prescribed Savella which actually supressed my appetite ( I didn't stay on it). As a side note I walk only for exercise and just losing 10 lbs and walking regularly decreased the pain so much! I ate/eat…

That's why I can't just have a few chips:)

I'm going to disagree with the fact that SOME won't judge you...there has even been some video evidence of folks judging others in the gym..... The point is one has to start somewhere. You can't stop people from judging its just a fact of life. You can only control what you to do improve you!

I have bread every single day and I'm losing weight as predicted by the amount of calories i'm eating.
-
Hey we agree:)

I went from totally out of breath walking 15 min to a 5k in about 4 weeks. Its totally doable walking. You don't need to race, just walk a normal pace. You will be surprised how many people walk and how confidence boosting it will be when you cross that line.
-
Yep fluctuations happen due to water, waste and food in your body. IF you are accurately logging your food and are in a deficit you will lose weight. Just not in a straight line down nor in the time frame we want:(
-
Also you can't please people 100% of the time so who cares what they think of you. Just walk in with confidence and do your thing!

The best "revenge" so to speak is to eat that sour cream and continue to lose weight. Who cares what he says what matters is you are reaching your goal eating the way you like to eat. That to me speaks volumes. My friends are begining to question my weight loss while eating pizza and hershey's kisses on occasion. I eat…

I can go from a bmi of 25 to 26 overnight after a couple of slices of pizza and a couple of beers. Thats only 6 lbs for me:).

I'm glad my physician had to earn certain grades to continue with his education. Wouldn't that be the same at least in principal?

It's because he sees you as something more than your weight alone. He sees the good qualities that are worth it to him to maintain that relationship. Things like love, commitment, strength. Those things in of themselves can be very attractive to me!
-
No need to break it down. I got it:)
-
So when you say you would leave based on weight gain you also mean there are other reasons outside of their looks alone that you found unattractive? When you say weight gain is a deal breaker that implies looks alone to me. Maybe I'm wrong?
-
I just read Gottaburns comment as HER relationship wouldn't have lasted 30 years if she took the same stance as you have. Honestly I can't imagine any relationship lasting very long based on looks alone. There is always someone out there thinner, prettier, more handsome, fitter... Wouldn't you agree?
-
Understood. But you've made it clear that if your parter gained weight you would unequivocally end it if they didn't do something about it after your warnings and it appears in your posts that you would do so even if they were a great person. Am I reading those posts wrong?
-
It seems to me in several posts that you've stated you would end a relationship over your partners weight, which you would no longer find attractive. You've put your relationship deal breaker out there in response to a debate question. Thats your prerogative. Your perspective and your relationships. Thats cool. A few…

I'm 5'4" and 1800 is my maintenance right now and I'm 10ish more lbs but sedentary. I'd double check that number.

To quote Igor- what hump? I think relying on something isn't necessarily bad but how many humps are you going to have in life? I think I'd try pushing through, playing with my macros or eating at maintenance to get thru a hump personally. Often times after stoping an appetite suppressant the appetite comes back stronger.
