Attia did do the 4K calorie experiment to show he wouldn't gain on Keto awhile back. So I'm not sure what he believes.

I'm not saying this is your experience but when I was "dieting" and restricting foods I felt resentful when someone ate what I was restricting. Like if I can't have it why eat it in front of me? Once I decided to lose weight for ME and not restrict foods, I give zero care to what anyone eats. I eat fries but sometimes I…

There is a middle ground between stuffing and eating healthy I think. Eat healthy and make room for for occasional high calorie dense foods.
-
But respectfully what do you mean by craving? Is it an overwhelming thought? A bodily physical reaction?

I do not naturally gravitate twords water, I have to have a conscious thought to drink it. Like jo get water:) I am not sure hunger and thirst get confused, but after tracking my water intake I see an increase in hunger and less adherence to my goals. I don't know why though.

Although I was joking, there is always some truth in jest:)

Nothing loaded honestly! My intention was crystal clear...some like you doesn't need precision and thats awesome I'm hoping to also not need to weigh my food for precision!!! Of freaking course I freaking care what I understand what works and what I can get out of this experience, after all aren't we all here for what "we"…

Its been debunked:)
-
Sometimes the only changes one needs to make is just to eat within their calorie goal and move a bit more. Changes takes time and the changes need not be huge but it's all trial and error.
-
I am totally serious...for you non-precision is wonderful and great. I totally get that. But can't you acknowledge that others need to get pretty close? I'm not knocking what works for you, in fact its the opposite I'm happy and it gives me hope I don't have to been super duper accurate about everything, BUT some folks…

I've read everything thanks! My question is still valid. I think everyone has their own way and I just don't understand going tit for tat on every single issue. idk

Thats fantastic and I personally think its great. I've managed to lose weight without weighing or measuring my food. But really why does it matter that others like/need to know? We are all different and we all have certian ways of "handling" our weight. I guess I'm asking why do you care what one's "precision" is? I…

I'm pretty big and I use Champion and I think they are available at WM and Target if you are in the US. I'm thinking a sports bra which gives support will naturally flatten one just a bit, especially if its not underwire to help hold you up.

I don't necessarily think its a "fad" diet unless you go on the diet knowing full well you can't stay on it long term. Then it becomes "your" fad diet. Does that make sense? Agree with Hornsby it needs to be something you can stay on long term, meaning a way of eating.

I'm not even close to my goal weight but if you are on the website look at my pics in my profile and you will see my 1st pic when I reached 199. Huge difference with only 30 lbs lost at that time. I've lost more since but I really haven't changed enough to post another updated pic yet.

I'd choose a kind chubby person any day over an obnoxious, super opinionated, know it all that gave ultimatums to me. BUT thats just me.

I originally started thinking a cheat day was eating up to maintenance calories thus "cheating" on my deficit even though it was planned most of the time. I've since come to realize that I'm not really "cheating". I'm just taking a "break" from my deficit. Now if I go over my maintenance calories which has been rare since…

Weight loss comes down to a calorie deficit period. BUT some people are satiated on different macros some need higher protein or higher fat others higher carbs. For me personally its about 40% carbs, 30% protein, 30% fat. You'll just have to play around to see what helps keep you satiated AND gives you plenty of energy for…
-
Protein is pretty important but I do think that satiety is individualized. Not everyone is satiated the same. OP you have to play with your macros and see what works for you.

Not drinking as much wine as I would like without sacrificing my nutrition. I kid folks I kid:)

I revoked access from fitbit web page, disconnected from mfp web. reconnected on mfp web and it's working. However I have earned 50 calories but only have had 390 steps this am so far so it's incorrect:( but syncing.

Add to that some people like me are/were totally uneducated about CICO.

Greek yogurt cottage cheese eggs (if you eat eggs) Cheese (if you eat cheese) Tofu Tempeh Soy Fake meat products like Gardin Beans These are some protein ideas for a vegetarian. I would start by eating the things you normally eat but stay within your calorie goal. Over time you will figure out what helps keep you satiated,…

It seems to me when I don't drink several glasses of water a day I tend to be hungrier. I'm not sure if I'm confusing dehydration with hunger but it sure seems to help me not be hungrier.
-
Mfp helped me estimate how to lose weight and its working quite well WHEN I stick to my calorie goal. ETA - It really isn't that complicated to me.

All I have for breakfast is coffee w/soy milk and low cal sweeter. I eat brunch somewhere around 10:30-11:30 and then an early dinner 4-5ish. I should add... I try to drink at least 48oz water Get 7-8 hrs of sleep (less can cause stress hormones to increase thus you are hungrier) I zig zag my calories so a couple days a…

For me eating a carb/fat/protein with each meal has helped me stay satiated on 1200. I also don't like breakfast and on the occasions I do eat breakfast it seems to make me hungrier throughout the day, so now I eat brunch and dinner and that has helped because now I can have higher calorie meals since I'm only eating 2x a…

Potatos for sure for me too.
