He's going to get older then his metabolism is going to slow way down. He's going to balloon up and start having severe health problems, go bald and look terrible. Might as well leave him now. (I'm being ultra sarcastic lol sorry...)

k You can nitpick apart every single sentence one at a time and argue petty details and semantics all day; they're all Soft Drinks. I'm not going back and forth especially when you claim "I disagree" then type one of my examples from the quote you're disagreeing with Amazing Anyway un-starring this topic and moving on

Things I did to get it working: notes, I'm using the Fitbit Charge 2 on windows 10 with the wireless dongle. Disconnected the fitbit app from myfitnesspal app on my phone. Turned my phone off. Logged in myfitnesspal on the browser enabled the app again on the browser sync'd with the fitbit app on Windows 10 turned off my…

Thanks for bringing that up; that was part of the "Deeply psychological" thing that I mentioned but I neglected to expand upon. Most people also substitute soda with diet soda because or/and justify it with the thinking "it isn't soda" or "this is a better option than 'regular' soda". There's all sorts of mental gymnastics…

Have you tried La-Croix? It's pretty delicious; especially the ones containing fruit essence and not "Natural Flavors"

I never mentioned aspartame or said that it was scary. You seem to be viewing "addicted" in the traditional medical sense, as characterized by tolerance and physical withdrawal, and I meant it in the broad sense; "persistent compulsive use of a substance known by the user to be harmful". Let me ask you: why did you give it…

You have people in this thread talking about how they drink up to 6 liters a day, or have been drinking it for 25+ years, and you're going to say it's not addicting at all?
-
It's super addicting. There's a lot of brain chemistry manipulation going on, and it's deeply psychological as well.

By the way, I don't know why more people don't know this but "Diet Pepsi" and "Diet Coke" aren't Pepsi / Coke with just artificial sweeteners... they're actually their own unique individual flavors. "Coke Zero" = Coca Cola Classic with artificial sweetener, and I think "Pepsi Max" = Pepsi Cola with artificial sweeteners…

I love Coke Zero and Pepsi Max but I started to get a bit out of control with it. Was drinking 1-2 liters a day for a few months then my dentist basically told me I was absolutely destroying my teeth. Said it was far, far worse than regular soda! Plus I started having stomach aches. No good... unfortunately it's only a…

It doesn't help only if the person wants to hear reasons to give up or quit. "it can't be that simple because that means I'll have to change and be uncomfortable and I don't want to do that." A child's mentality. Adults get it. There's a lot of mental children walking around in large fat adult bodies who simply want to…

Then you have these safe-spaces online where these "Crab" people brainwash other people into the same toxic loser mentality. "It's literally impossible to lose weight just give up like I did! I was only eating 100 calories per day for 10 years in a row while running 100 miles per day and literally ZERO weight loss! I…

I just wanted to agree with all the people saying it IS that simple. It really is. I lost 113lbs with ZERO exercise; I know.

I was being ultra negative. I guess the other Fitbit features are pretty cool. Like the sleep tracking.... heart rate monitor is cool. So I don't know I kind of expected it to be more "advanced" and more "seamless" but I like it enough not to return it. Sorry about the negativity

The whole entire reason I bought a Charge 2 was because I wasn't gaining any weight, so I wanted more accurate estimates to how many calories I was burning, and it supposedly was able to sync with MyFitnessPal automatically and update your daily calories. it's been nothing but sync'ing issues with myfitnesspal ever since.…

All these hundreds of words and people typing up essays and completely ignoring the OP's question lol Alright then; keep on trying to educate people on sugar with your admitted lack of medical knowledge or understanding of the topic and derailing the topic completely. OP: Keep doing what you're doing there's nothing wrong…
-
It's not more complicated than that at all. I was directly quoting sugar being used in the context of "natural sugar" vs "added sugar", and addressing that only and quite explicitly and specifically; then addressed specifically how it's processed when consumed as a whole fruit vs added sugar (talking about glycemic index…
-
I understand "Sugar is sugar" to the myfitnesspal app, or to someone who has to watch sugar because of medical conditions, but for the most part sugar from fruit is no problem at all especially if you're eating the fruit whole. Natural sugar is processed different than other sugars because the fiber with the fruit slows…

1200 calories is very very low... you're probably burning more than that just with the exercise alone. You have to be very careful you're getting enough micronutrients and protein otherwise you're going to start suffering the effects of anorexia. Hairloss, brittle nails, weakening teeth, all kinds of terrifying things. And…
