Totally agree with all of this. I actually like carbs at night- they help you sleep better. Weight loss is all about calories in vs calories out. I love oatmeal with protein powder! Another go-to is plain greek yogurt with chia seeds, cinnamon, coconut butter, and mango. I know it sounds like a crazy combo but it is SO GOOD

5lbs will make a huge difference for you! Just remember that weight can fluctuate day in and day out (esp for females!) so look for the trend over time./

I actually wouldn't recommend eating back your calorie allotment. Usually calorie goals take into consideration your activity level and exercise. When you "eat it back" you may actually be eating more than you burn as well.
