Hi Barbiecat, just had my 50th and my weight has been creeping up over the last decade. So decided to try this. I tend to snack a lot so keeping a diary helps to remind me I don't need it. My goal is to make lifestyle changes that stick. I love Zumba which is helping.

Sounds like a perfectly normal 18 year old to me. You'll learn your limits, it doesn't automatically make you an alcoholic. But it will make you gain weight.
