  • Hi everybody... I practically teared up as I read through today's replies to this thread. I've been on several different types of discussion boards in the past, and fully expected to receive the half dozen or so standard greetings that typically follow a new member's introduction - "welcome to the board," "hope you like…
  • I have a low tolerance for swearing, so I've told my boys that if they are tempted to use a bad word, they should replace it with "Obama." >:)

I also want to walk more and drink more water. Those are my goals for these 6 weeks (in addition to the 10 pound weight loss goal). Best wishes everyone!
  • Hi everyone. I'm surprised and humbled to have received such a warm welcome and such helpful and encouraging messages. I appreciate it more than you know. I do have a therapist, who I trust and is very helpful to me. I have countless lifestyle changes that I need to make, but I am going to try to incorporate 1 or 2…
  • I do have a therapist, who I trust and is very helpful to me. I have countless lifestyle changes that I need to make, but I am going to try to incorporate 1 or 2 positive changes at a time in order to develop new and better habits. For example, today I kept a food journal and went for a walk with my son - both of which I…
