That's really odd. I hope shes ok and finding her success on her own. It's a cool program for some people. Definitely not for every one. I used it for a few months to jump start my weight loss and it helped a lot! I lost a bunch of weight but transitioned so I could eat more calories to sustain workouts.

900cal teriyaki burger with funions for dinner last night! My hubby and I talked about making this for days and he grilled in a snow storm to make it happen. It turned out so delicious!!

Twix are my Demon snack too haha! They're my favorite!! I think I have had at least one snack size Twix every day for the last 2 weeks. I'm going to take a break when this bag is gone and stop buying them for a while haha

No, you didn't come off peachy at all! You really put things in perspective for me. I think if I could get to a point that Im comfortable in my own skin and I can let go of this obsession I would end up being happier than if I lost the rest of the weight and had surgery. I would probably just find something else to fixate…

Wow, you have an absolutely beautiful mindset. I would love to be at that level of confidence one day.! I'm honestly one of the women you mentioned that make physical perfection the main life goal. My confidence is better than it was a while ago (I used to be extremely depressed because of the way I looked) but the mission…

I hadn't even considered not having the tummy tuck lol. My skin bounced back fairly well after my 1st baby but after having my last 2 in just under 2 years its been a hot mess. I just assumed with the amount of skin and stretch marks surgery would be the only way to get a really nice stomach. I have seen some bad tummy…

Thank you both!! I have 3 kids, the youngest is 1.5 year. I have been definitely considering recomping.

Thank you for the positivity! Yeah the skin from pregnancies is no joke haha. It's worth it for the lol ones but not fun! I honestly don't think I would mind the mental aspect of bulking if it meant watching my LBM go up as well as the amount of weight I can lift but Im just not sure how to decide when its time to start or…

Sorry, I should have mentioned my goals. After my tummy tuck, I would like to eventually have a clearly defined 4 pack and 20ish% body fat. I also have a lot of strength goals Im working toward and want to at least hit intermediate on all of the main lifts as well as pack on a good amount of muscle mass. I kind of want it…

Did the online calculator read higher or lower thab thebbod pod?

Ok cool. I guess I'll just try hitting 23% then bulking. Sorry if my skin made people uncomfortable

Just under 70lbs from the weight I delivered my last 2 babies

This... I definitely prefer powders for post workout protein. I like protein bars as a easy meal replacement when Im lazy and don't want to prepare real food though. I like to compare the amount of protein in the bar to the calories and determine if its worth eating it. My new favorite is grenade carb killa (still has…

Im another vote for a diet break!! I have been there....hungry all the time but not losing weight. It really doesn't make sense, but the times I have been in that position I lost weight and felt way better after upping my calories!

I think most of my carbs are probably "bad." I eat a lot of white flour tortillas, wheat bread/bagels, protein bars, occasional treats and oatmeal. It hasn't stopped me from progressing and I seem to function better with higher carbs. I'm not very picky about where they come from, as long as I keep my macros close to my…

I'm 5'8.75" and 148lbs. Right now Im averaging about 1,900 cals to lose about 1/2lb per week. I started out in May at 190lbs and ate under 1,200 cals a day (not recommended!!) And have bumped my calories up many times during the process. I've been super happy with the results every time! I also lift weights 4x a week and…

If you had the implant removed because the hormones messed with You, merina might have similiar problems. I dont handle the birth control hormones well so I had the copper iud put in. Clawed the bugger out myself because I was in so much pain but no weight gain (other than the pregnancy 2 weeks later). All birth controls…

I went to my hubbys Xmas party a few days ago and haven't seen most if his co-workers in a long time. So many of them looked shocked and complimented me on my weight loss. It was super flattering! quite a few people told me I could do better than my husband so it made me wonder if he was being shady at work but I think…

I personally love protein powder :) I don't drink one every day but it helps on days that my protein levels from food sources are on the low side. Most of them are also pretty low in calories. I'm weight training in a deficit so thats a huge plus! It's also quick and convenient

I confess that I really want a brazillian butt lift. Weight training is helping me build a butt and I have made some progress but I am way too inpatient for this *kitten* and want to be bootylicious right meow!!!

My husband doesn't leave town but he switches between day/night shifts. My schedule completely changes depending on what he's doing. When he's on night shift, I have a habit of eating less and sleeping less. I'm working on the eating part right now but since its so easy for me to stay up until 1am, I got in the habit of…

I'm generally going to disagree to most of it, especially the reason most people fail. A few points to sticking to it seem pretty solid (like not jumping into it so fast you get burnt out and not forcing yourself to do something you hate.) But I think long term adherence needs to come from intrinsic motivation. Even if you…

Based on internet memes, I think squat rack is where you are supposed to do curls

I've been lifting but Im pretty sure you kicked me off your friends list. Maybe I don't lift heavy enough? I can totally almost bench 100lbs so that should count. Lol!!

I have recently realized my fitbit overestimates my calories. I weigh and log every bite of food that goes into my mouth and I was frustrated that my weight wasn't responding the way I expected it to. It's a good general estimate but it seems to be more accurate to compare your calories in and scale weight to the expected…

I personally think its easier to pre-log calorie dense foods and work out for fitness goals. That way, exercise doesn't feel like a punishment to atone for my sins

My dad has always been a one HUGE meal a day type of person, whereas I find myself more comfortable eating 6-8x a day. Everyone is different but its awesome you found something that works for you!! * I wrote this last time but it didn't show up? Sorry if you see it 2x* but have you considered talk therapy to address your…
