Sunday night's music and message went really well! I had a lot of positive feedback. And then I went home, got to bed around 10, and woke up at 1:30 with a HORRIBLE stomach bug that had me down for the count all day. I was a mess yesterday. But, by last night I could eat a little, and this morning I feel pretty much back…

Mary, how far are you from Monroe? That's where we'll be in June for that wedding that I'm doing music for. And I LOVE reading your beautiful, natural gratitude. You are so uplifting! I hope you were refreshed and revived on your day off, Skip! Everyone needs a break sometimes, and you'd been working really hard. Enjoy…

Sam, I'm grinning at your plant-splurging plans while DW is otherwise occupied. You rebel! Create a beautiful, lush masterpiece! I can't wait to see pictures! Kelly, your screen #5 intrigues me! Steph, I hope you're feeling well today, and all rested up. Mary, those were some pretty wise words yesterday about speaking and…

What a rough day, Skip! I hope you are able to breathe today and to release some of that tension in the aftermath. Walking away can be a really smart choice. I'm sending you a big ol' hug. You guys with all your screens crack me up. My hubby's office is like that, too. I just have my little laptop ... literally sitting on…

Good morning, BBB! Skip, that is a lot of screens. Kelly, what does "get the patio ready" entail? Powerwashing? I love powerwashing. There is something innately satisfying about doing it. I had a really great almost 2-hour zoom call with a Coach friend in MO last night, after another really awesome (and deep ... I love the…

That restaurant sounds intriguing, Skip! And I'm really glad your eulogy went well. You've definitely got presentation skills, I can tell. What will the task force be doing? Lee, we were soul siblings ... I left my phone at a baby shower this weekend and had to go back for it. Doh! And thanks for the compliment! So far,…

The highlight of my St. Paddy's Day celebrating was sharing incredibly dumb Irish-themed jokes all week in my workshops. It's cute watching how much people light up with those! It probably reminds them of their dads. My birthday celebrations have begun to pick up, too. Several gifts and cards came in yesterday,…

Coffee is goooooooood this morning. 2 more days of this decade (counting today). I'm getting excited! A couple more packages arrived at our house yesterday, but my hubby made me promise to just leave them on the front step and not touch them. I'm cool with that ... I love surprises! I still have one left to open from my…

I remember you! But I don't remember that you live so close (I'm in Zeeland). Welcome to BBB, and congrats on your progress toward your goal!

Skip, I'm so sorry about your friend, and so thankful he was where he was in your life. Remember that Mr. Rogers' quote? Always look for the helpers. There will always be helpers. Glad your breakfast went well, Dennis. That's so optimistic! i hope that more things like that are able to start happening again soon. What did…

Happy Friday, everyone! It's a beautiful, sunny day in west Michigan today! Skip, NICE TRUCK! I'm pretty clueless about these things ... what is it that sets it apart from other ones by that company? What makes it unique and rare? Steph, this looks like SUCH an adventure! How cool! Learning a new skill, living on a boat on…

And I was SO happy to see you on Sunday! I'm happy to see you ANY day.

Last night was one of the worst nights of sleep I've ever had. It took me HOURS to actually get to sleep, and once I did I woke up 2-3 times every hour. What's weird is that, right now, I'm not tired. If I can just make it through my first 3 workshops this morning, I can get a nap in before the 4th.

Jack London books were some of the first chapter books I ever read ... I was probably about 8. I loved them! Lee, do your weigh in right after they draw blood - you'll weigh less! Ha ha! Raine, he is seriously one of the CUTEST pups I've ever seen! I'm SO excited for you! ((((Skip))))) I hope you can figure out a balance…

Happy birthday, Dave!!!

Tacos aren't the worst, Skip ... we NEED tacos in our lives! I hope you enjoyed every bite. It's truly all about balance. Yay for Babe placing 4th! Etta Mae and Lily were hoping for her pawograph. We had a nice weekend - date night and cuddling on Friday, Dd24 and dgs visiting and staying over Saturday (and Dd20 and df…

12 hour days would get exhausting. Delegating is GOOD for everyone. I believe that a big part of leadership is developing and empowering new leaders. :) ((((Mary)))) So sorry about your leg! Yes, see the doc. Maybe you'll find it's fixable. Good job on your treadmill, Kelly! You rock! I hope the puppy works out for you,…

Happy Wednesday, everyone! The covid crew at my daughter's house seem to be on the upswing. 2 of them haven't shown symptoms, so they still might get it. We'll see. They still have almost 2 weeks of quarantine to get through. Nothing out of the ordinary going on for me today that I am aware of. 4 in person workshops. It's…

Congrats on the new car, Kelly! It sounds snazzy! I'm not a fan of Vegas, but I know lots of other people like it. Is it windier there than most places, Skip? Dennis, I'd suggested Brody on a fb post a while back! I like your spelling better, though. I thought it sounded nicely Irish. My youngest Dd saw it and had a fit…

So pretty! (but then I knew what succulents were ... ha ha!)

Hi everyone! I tested negative - whew! Jim didn't get tested ... he wasn't exposed like I was. Sunny and windy here. And WARM! What a great way to start March! And, speaking of March, you realize that it is officially Princess Lisa month. I got to open a box from my bff this morning, and in it found gifts to be opened each…

If they're okay with silks, I do weddings, Mary. The silks are WAY cheaper and can be done early so you're not scrambling in those last days. I could even give you any info you'd need to do them yourself. I've done around a dozen weddings (including all my daughters') ... I used to own a business doing it. And we are…

What a couple of days! So, we found out Wednesday night that Dd29's df has COVID. They were both exposed Saturday night. Dd thinks she may have it, too, but we're still waiting on her test. Backtrack a little, and she did music with us on Sunday night, after the exposure happened (which they were unaware of at the time). I…

24 days until the OFFICIAL 1st day of Spring! Woot woot! And my birthday is the day before. It's like I was born, and the world had spring. HA!!! And the egotistical quote of the day goes to ME! :D Wow! Germany is a long way away, Lee! I'm glad you can go visit. I hate that one of my kids is a whole hour drive from us!…

I just emailed you all a few options. Let me know your thoughts, okay? And let me know if you don't get the email, too ... some of my addresses might be old.

Spouses are totally welcome! I'm bringing mine!

Sept 30 - Oct 3 is what people said worked for them.

Good morning, BBB! We're visiting 3 potential wedding venues with Dd20 today. We went to one earlier this week, too. Should be fun! I love hanging out with her and her fiance ... they're GREAT kids. We'll take them to lunch in the middle of it all, too. I hope Cecelia is feeling better! Hugs all around!

Ok ... so we've got: Lisa and Jim Skip and Carrie Mary and Tom Dennis and Kris Sam and Joanne (did I spell it right?) Raine and Tom (if we can find one that takes puppies) Lou and Cecilia (maybe ... I will need to know for sure when I book) Did I miss anyone? Here's the thing ... I realize that something might come up for…

We'll say yes. Does that mean you'll come, Kelly?
