Wow! May I ask which Core de Force? I'm looking for a good program that doesn't involve a lot of jumping. All with martial arts inspired, though. thanks!

Beautiful before and after. You look so much younger now. Congratulations and thanks for sharing. The success stories keep me logging in and logging my food- even on a bad day. Seeing so many people figure out means there's hope! :)

I would not even say that you fell short of a goal. I would say your goal was REALLY ambitious and you ROCKED it!!!!!

Thank you! As I start this journey, I find it helps tremendously to look through these success stories. Little by little I will change - and my inspiration is my two daughters.

I'm sorry for your loss. I started back 35 days ago because one of my favorite professors and mentors in grad school died at 58. I am so sad for her kids. I want to live a long healthy life for mine. It will take work, but we can do it.

Pickles. Kimchi. Seriously, when I am starving after work, I open the jar of kimchi and eat several pieces. It is high in sodium if you eat too much, but a serving or two is like 15-20 calories and it's so flavorful that it gets me through.

Great job everyone! And I've figured out my problem. I need to grow about 8 inches and I'll be a lot skinnier. :)

freeze watermelon. Using an individual-size blender (Bullet, Ninja, etc) fill with chunks to fill line with frozen watermelon. Add 3/4-1 shot tequila , 1/2-3/4 shot cointreau, 1 full shot fresh lime juice. blend. It makes two delicious margs.

1. I've always been overweight since 6 years old, except for a few stints here and there where I controlled it. Grad school and an unhealthy relationship helped me gain back what I had lost before that relationship. (doctorates are brutal) I left the relationship at the heaviest I had ever been, found someone who is…

I was so sick both times that I actually lost weight in the first two trimesters and finished at about a 5 pound gain. BUT, when I started breast feeding, I could finally eat again (no heartburn, no nausea) and I gained weight. Don't believe the breastfeeding will make you lose weight hype! It's great for mom and baby if…

You can do it! Start with the smallest goal of chewing each bite of food around 40 times. It has helped me tremendously. (and it's free!)

Look for frozen sales. You can get a bag of frozen broccoli pieces for $1 at Kroger or Walmart. (you will notice a difference in price between the florettes and the pieces because the latter is mostly stems for that price, sadly, but it works for your purposes.) You can put broccoli into casseroles, etc. Bread (sadly,…

Chaperoning a trip to an amusement park end of May and don't want to be embarrassed by not fitting in a seat.

Oh, and today I spiralized raw zucchini and carrots. Then I boiled some shrimp. I put it all in a couple of spring roll wrappers (the big, plastic-looking ones, not like the wonton or egg roll type) with cilantro and dunked in a peanut butter lime sriracha sauce.

The French love puréed vegetable soups. bullion, water, random veggies ( broccoli, greens, squash, whatever) with onions and garlic. Then blend it. Serve it with a dash of sour cream if you like. I do a cauliflower one that is quite tasty when I am low on calories for the day. (chicken Better than Bullion, water, pack…

Thank you so very much for your post. I get so discouraged when a night of sushi can blow up the scale for DAYS. (even if I am very good at my choices) I'm trying to "just get back up" every time I have a higher cal day and keep on being consistent. You HAVE motivated me. Thank you!

I'm two days late, but since I'm sporting some serious sushi water retention, maybe I can make up for it, lol! CW:217 GW:197 July 31: Aug 7: Aug 14: Aug 23 last weigh in: Let's do this!!

First day on MFP and had a family function- stayed in my calories range with a few to spare. Asked for tea which helped sway me away from the ice cream I would not even have enjoyed, anyway. (though would have eaten)
