Saturday Success - I have returned to an exercise that I actually look forward to doing. Zumba! I love the music and the people, it just seems like dancing with friends and not exercise. But believe me when I say that calories are killed in this hour of fun.

Thursday truth - I need to control my portion sizes better. I think its time to invest in a scale.

Wednesday Wish- that I had stronger will power when it comes to food, sweets to be specific. I LOVE CHOCOLATE, EVERYTHING!

Monday check in- fell off the wagon, poor food choices, too much at one meal, not drinking enough water, not weighing in today because I'm sure I've gained, and my monthly has reared its ugly head. But, on a positive note, I'm not giving up, not giving in, I'm going to get back on track and give it all I've got!

Tuesday goal- Try to help my hubby understand that fat free does not mean calorie free. He brought home a fat free lemon poppyseed muffin and I was oh so tempted. However, upon further inspection the calories were 450! I couldn't bring myself to eat it. I didn't want to hurt his feelings when I know he was trying to do…

Saturday success- I've done well with my food choices and portions, stayed under my calories each day, logged in to MFP for the past 7 days. I hope to keep going like this!

My plan is to start using my elliptical in the morning before work. Have a great weekend everyone B)

Thursday truth- I usually start out pretty well with eating right and being more active, but about a month into it, I start slacking. I start making poor food choices telling myself that I've worked hard and I deserve it. I start skipping work outs telling myself there's always tomorrow. I am doing all I can right now to…

@Amarie295, be patient with yourself. It can be so overwhelming at first, find something you truly enjoy doing that makes you feel happy and not like you are punishing yourself ;) I love doing Zumba in a class setting, but absolutely despise stationery bikes, to me that is a punishment. You got this!

Tuesday-Goals: I am focused on being a healthier version of myself by next May when I will turn 40. 40! Objectives: Take one day and 1lb at a time, eat to fuel my body not to fill an emotion, drink more water and less sugary drinks, incorporate more exercise by finding physical activities I enjoy, stay committed to loving…

I'm happy to have found this thread. I love reading about people's success and things that have/haven't worked for them. I have 100lbs to lose and just came back to MFP after a yr. I did not utilize the social community the last time I tried this, so I plan to take full advantage of all the fabulous information on here.…
