I calculated out my BMI and I was a singular pound into the overweight range. I noped right outta there and into MFP.

Happy Thursday, All! And welcome Arnie and Ammey! Boyfriend zeroed out the scale, much to my chagrin. We have one of those manual ones you have to turn the little tiny dial under to get it back to zero.. I instantly put on two pounds. I know that means that I started two pounds heavier than I thought, but that didn't stop…

My boyfriend and I are both trying to lose weight, so we have a pants hanger on the wall that holds a pair of pants he wants to fit into, and a pair of shorts I want to fit into. They're very nearly our size, so it's a matter of 5-10ish pounds each until we can comfortably wear them. Maybe try something like that? Also,…

That's something only you can resolve. Can you think of the reasons why you over eat? Ways that you could prevent it? What are your kryptonite foods? Those are the general questions you need to start with.

Well, today has been absolutely insane. I've been run ragged and it seems like every time I get back to my desk and sit down, I get another call telling me to go somewhere else. My co-worker just told me I gave someone entirely wrong information, as well, despite the fact that that means he gave me incomplete information…

What do you need tips on?

From what I've seen, you gotta give it time to get your general stats down before you can trust the calorie burn. Set MFP to 'Sedentary', and FitBit to adjust activity level based on historical data. (I forget what the option is, it's the other button besides 'sedentary'. Make sure negative adjustments are available on…

Ohh my god Taki's. I can portion those out and put them in my lunch, but i inevitably eat them before 10am regardless of whether I'm hungry or not. Too good.
-
Really? Because I was completely full and content for hours, and sometimes couldn't even finish the soup and would save the rest for later. It worked great for me, regardless of whether you consider it a snack or meal. I just don't think we should fight with medical professionals. 1200 calories leaves you hungry sometimes,…

Listen to your doctor if they say 1200 cal. Your doctor knows better than people on here. Really. That said, I've done 1200 cal before, and it is a stretch, but it's doable. The best way I found success is through strict meal planning. Pre-plan breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, and a small after-dinner snack (100 cal…

Arniedog- I'm seeing what you mean about difficult to train. I'm trying to teach her 'heel' (where she circles around my back and sits on my right side), and she'll attempt it about six or seven times and then let me know she's bored by barking every time I try to command her again. :expressionless: What a sass master!…

1st: Wouldn't be surprised if it's water weight. But if you don't think it is, heres what you need to do! 1. Go to Walmart, invest in a food scale. I have a $15 one, and it works seriously well. You don't need to spend a lot. Weigh everything. Butter on your toast? Weigh it. Jelly for your sandwich? Rice? Pasta? Weigh it.…

-Go out tonight and don't have any drinks -Get lots of sleep. No alarms. Walk the puppy extra so she doesn't complain when I sleep in. -Complete my log (start to finish of my day) before I go to bed

I feel you. I have a thing for super-aged cheddar. The more bitterly sharp the better. I almost brought some home from HEB last night and had to force myself to walk away because I knew the voice in the back of my head saying "I'll only eat what I can fit in my CICO" was lying! I miss cheese

Lana-- Yes! It's her when she was 9 weeks old. Her name is Pebbles. She's a little rascal of a 5 month old corgi right now. She desperately needs the training. Here's a photo of her now:

The adding and deleting exercise worked! Now I'm getting my negative adjustment, too. Oh boy. I instantly regretted setting this up! (Granted, I've walked about half what I normally have by this point in the day...)

Yeah, I've done all of that. I work tech support so I feel kinda goofy when I have to ask others for help with this kind of thing! I'm gonna try pincushion14's idea next..

Tillesmommy1- Working off a food reward sounds like a lot of effort! I'm too lazy for that, so good on you! ASalner- I know that broke feeling. Have a great lunch! Woke up at like 3am with a massive pressure headache and since we were out of bread had to have a waffle with my advil. Because one thing worse than a headache…

calny- Does WW's weigh-ins seem to help you lose weight? I can't even imagine weighing in in front of anyone besides my dog... Late-in-the-day check-in time! Ate too much out of frustration during my trip to the DMV, logged it, moving on. Got to work and it's the September birthday party, so there were SO MANY ice cream…

I feel you on both of those! Cadbury creme eggs are my weakness, though. They had them at the gas station near my work for way too long after easter ended....
-
Good on you. For me, I'd want that slice to be the size of half a pizza... And I've never had poutine either, which is strange because I used to live in VT like an hr from the canadian border. I think something about the term 'cheese curds' threw me off emotionally. Cheesey Fries, on the other hand...

I have! At least, I've tried the trader joes speculoos cookie butter. But I don't really want my bread to weirdly taste like cookies so I can't think of how to use it up....

I mean it matters to me if they'll go on hikes/walk the dog/eat vegetables but outside of that I Can work out on my own just as easily

Blogilates! She does free daily workout calendars and that use her youtube videos to target different body areas every day. also, if you're looking for something more intense, she created PIIT28, which is pilates interval training.

reddit.com/r/mealprepsunday is a good place to start! They have a lot of recipes and ideas. On top of that, I highly recommend the crock pot. When you're getting ready in the morning, just throw everything in (you can pre-dice/slice/measure into plastic baggies the night before), and then when you're home, you'll have a…

I'm gonna brag about something super tiny.... Today I went to BK because I had like a three hour wait at the DMV and was tryna burn some time, and super hungry. Got a 3 piece french toast stick... they gave me 5. Looked at the other two, left them on my tray, and ultimately threw them away. Not today, delicious pieces of…

Yup. I'd have the Chinese and Coke, flop around on the couch for a bit, watch some bad reality TV (might I recommend Toddlers & Tiaras?), have a cry, and then pick back up tomorrow and keep going.
