  • http://www.iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ Best one IMO. And "tone up" you say.. Smh.
  • Oh right, if the need to have fruit is putting you over your calories for the day then making cuts elsewhere in your diet will be a good idea.
  • So 2/3 fruits a day? Seems alright to me. Personally, even while eating 2400 cals 2 pieces of fruit are enough for me.
  • My advice, don't focus too much on fruits. It's just not necessary in my experience. Add another banana in and maybe 2 apples and that's more than enough fruit for the day. That along side your real carbs then you'll be on your way to all kinds of gainz. Keep lifting heavy AF too. Good luck.
  • There's no such thing as fruit to eat for weight loss, that's a myth. Fruit is food from nature so it's absolutely fine to eat. That being said, excess fruit seems unnecessary. Especially if you're aware of how the body deals with the fructose in fruit.
  • As much as I love fats and protein, I love carbs too much to reduce em so significantly. Who knows maybe I'll try this Keto thing out for a week too, see how I feel.
  • Rice, potatoes, yams.. Where ya carbs at? Or do you just get your carbs from fruit?
  • If you don't feel hungry during the morning and you're eating just for the sake of eating, push your first meal back a few hours. That way you'll more calories left for the rest of the day. Secondly if you do eat after your last meal it can be another meal, it doesn't have to be a binge.
  • Right, maybe 7pm would be ideal. 6pm seems a tad bit too early. Unless you'll prefer to abstain from food at night vs the morning.
  • Fruit for gainz WTF? Just increase your actual meals. Eat more of what your already eating, forget that additional fruit.
  • I dabble with 3 meals at times but that "6 small meals" thing is truly dead in the water for me. And to actually answer OPs question, make a thick protein shsha. If your protein is chocolate based then that's great in your case. Add ice cubes, milk and a whole banana *if the banana is frozen even better. You can't go wrong…
  • That's right,16 hours. What time do you usually get to bed?
  • Yes you do. That's just the reality of it. If you started out at 800 cals then I would've said that could be beginners naivety however as you started out so low, meaning you were suppressing your body telling you to feed it, shows they're some much deeper issues going on. You haven't mentioned if you binge or not, do you?…
  • Like the above poster said you can't spot reduce. It'll come off eventually, it always does. Question. Are you doing these 2 cardio sessions on the same day as your lifting? And how long do you spend lifting?
  • Yep. Been practising fasting for 5 years now. It's been a game changer. My other meal is 900 cals, I like stuffing my face with huge meals. I feel great doing that.
  • I like it. Been an IF'er for 5 years or so. It just works so seamlessly with my lifestyle. To be honest I wasn't a typical "breakfast" eater before hand so this practice if-you-will fits like a glove. I will say I adapt my "eating window" to match my hunger signals. For the most part I do not get hungry until midday, say…
  • Could try cauliflower rice with a stir fry type thing. If you get the seasoning right you can eat a truck load of food for less than 500 cals. Also Greek yogurt hits the spot.
  • You do got this. Knowing they'll be some failures along the way and that it's not all smooth sailing to your goal puts you in good position to ultimately achieve success. Good luck!
  • Whenever I do eat that warm chocolate chip muffin I've been denying myself, It feels like I'm cumming. The fountain kind.
  • Preach! I basically eat a kings banquet before I fall asleep. A good 1500 calorie meal consisting of potatoes, burgers, chicken drumsticks, eggs & bread. Just ensure you're in a deficit and for the most part you eat actusl food, not lab experiments claiming to be food and you'll be alright.
  • Measure in the morning vs before bed. Then you'll know if it's bloating or not. However if it is bloating you should know because you can feel stomach discomfort to some degree. My guess is there's something in your diet that your stomach may not be agreeing with (If the problem is bloating).
  • I always tip my hat off to anyone who successfully looses this much weight. It couldn't have been easy. You my friend are a strong woman. Well done, you stunning.
  • That does suck. My advice would be to occupy yourself with things that raise your state/make you happy. Watch movies, meet up with friends, laugh, help others however you can etc. The bottom line is to stay busy, but it helps if you're busy with things you love right?! BTW you're gorgeous, seriously  . Stay strong ma!
  • Awesome job, you look great! You said it perfectly "you eat to fuel, not for pleasure", I follow the same philosophy and it works seamlessly. You probably feel like a million bucks right now, and deservedly so. It's not easy loosing that much weight so hats off to you. Welcome to the high life
  • @Sabine_Stroehm Who's the music gal? Where she be at? @willburton174 Man you're thorough lol. I salute your efforts pal. That was a good read.
  • Alright easy, why do sound like you wanna bite my head off? Lol, geez. To elaborate on my point, if one is engaged in higher ranked actives throughout the other 23 hours 30 mins of the day then yeah, 1 hour is too much - which highly unlikely. But priories are priorities. Just make peace with exercising not being a…
  • No projecting of anything here at all. If you haven't noticed, you're the only one trying to flesh this non-issue out. You come across as someone who fishes for confrontation, I don't think forums are the place for that, or anywhere else for that matter. Pardon me if I've judge you unfairly but that's the vibe I'm getting…
  • I agree with you. The dogmatic/tribal practices of religion in these current times we're living in is nothing short of counterproductive. I'm not down with that at all. The word "religion" itself irritates me to some degree, partly due to the reason you've outlined. But that's an entriely different discussion for a…
  • I find that ridiculously seductive. Any meat lover ranks high in my list of people ranking.
  • Well done my man. Killing it!
