For me, I have struggled to stick to a healthy routine in the morning. Lately I have been able to start better just by making myself do some light stretches and movements before I get my coffee, and before I get on the internet. I’m enjoying this little step as a way to start my day healthier.

I forgot to weigh in yesterday, so I did this morning instead. After three weeks of small losses, I posted a 1 pound gain. Saturday versus Sunday is not a great comparison, since Saturday has always been my splurge day. In any event, I’m relatively happy with my choices this past week.

I haven’t been the best at practicing this lately, but when I was doing my best, I had a whole bunch of healthy options for late night snacks. - popcorn (low fat version) - Cheese sticks - Pickles - WW chocolate cake dessert (I forget the name) - Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches - Chicken breast with a dipping sauce

My wife recently made an excellent chicken and green chili recipe, but she’s asleep so I’ll have to ask her later.
