You know starbucks has low calorie versions of their drinks right? Sugar free syrups (so also very low calorie) and drinks without whipped cream. Some of their ice coffees are less than 100 calories. Look up their nutritional info guide. As for making your own, sorry can't help. I've tried so many times in the past and…

What do you mean by the bit in bold? Larger people have higher calorie needs, therefore they can eat more than smaller people and still lose weight (though still need to be in a calorie deficit which means eating less than your TDEE). I have no idea where you got the opposite idea from. But your research is plain wrong,…

I drink diet sodas (diet coke) if I go to the pub for drinks. As pre- calorie counting I would usually have 4 or 5 pints but that ends up being 1000-1250 calories just for that! No wonder I gained so much weight. Whereas with diet sodas I can have 4 whiskey measures with diet coke for 280 calories, so miles less!

Might be the storing upright. There is no room on the bathroom floor to keep it down (tiny tiny bathroom) and it's a tripping hazard for my mum so they're stored upright. :/

First you need to fix your misconceptions about weight. There is no such thing as "naturally thin". And the somatotypes like endmorphs biologically are complete bunk, they're good at describing how a person looks but that is literally it. Your "somatotype" doesn't stop you losing weight or staying a healthy weight or…

Baked fruit like peaches, pairs and apples. :) https://realfood.tesco.com/recipes/baked-caramelised-peaches-with-salted-nuts.html You could lower the calories by reducing the maple syrup.

It depends what your maintenance calories are (TDEE). But if you are eating under your maintenance calories, then yes you will lose weight. How much and how fast depends on how much under your maintenance calories you are eating.

The whole weight gain because of insulin spikes is bad science taken out of context. It doesn't work like that, but magazines and websites try to simplify it to the non-scientifically trained masses....which just ends up hashing up the information to something that is no longer correct or useful. My advice steer clear of…

Weight loss of 2kg per week would require you to be in a weekly calorie deficit (Eating UNDER you maintenance) of 15400 calories, or in other words. A deficit of 2200 a day. That is basically not possible for 99.9999% of people, particularly for a woman as women have lower calorie needs than men. You need to find a more…

1. that top is gorgeous! Want that outfit for myself!!

Stop viewing it as "a diet". And start viewing it as a life style change. Losing weight doesn't need to make you miserable. And it doesn't mean you can't eat foods you like. People often subscribe to the notion that in order to lose weight they must eat salads and only clean foods and no treats. It is nonsense. The ONLY…

Fat shows as less grams for the same percentage because there are more calories in fat than in carbs and protein. And the chart shows what percentage of your calories came from which macronutrients. I wouldn't worry too much about your macro nutrient levels unless you have to watch them for health reasons. So long as you…
-
70% fat and only 20% protein? If you don't mind me asking...what exactly are you eating? Because I'm struggling to think of anything that fits into those macronutrients.

Ahhhh so jealous. Lowest calorie tortilla/ wrap I've been able to find in the UK is 99calories for 32grams (half the size of the one you posted) :( I love wraps, but I just can't afford 100 calories for such a tiny wrap, would need two of them to make a meal or lunch.
-
They gained weight because they ate more calories than their TDEE. That simple. I'm sorry but it's your beliefs that are wrong. What you posted is nonsense.

Daily. If it goes up during a deficit I ignore it as it's clearly just water weight and/or stomach contents, but if it goes down I log it. When I'm not activly trying to lose weight though once every week or two, just to keep myself in check and make sure I'm not gaining and not realising.

I know :)

For me Christmas is about food, drink and watching people open their presents.....oh and the Christmas tree. I am very specific about the Christmas tree. I let my family help decorate it, but I pick the theme and decorations! ahaha

I'm from England, never left the UK! But from what I've seen....sounds like a nightmare. I wouldn't be able to cope.
-
Thankfully I don't have any kids or child family members to shop for. Budget would be through the roof if I had to add kids into the mix too!
-
What? That's insane! How can you cope with the stress with such a rush to do it all?
-
what...just...why?
-
Ahh agreed on the electronics front. I try to avoid anything like that in general in case it doesn't work and need to get in touch with the store on manufacturer for the whole warranty thing. It can just be a nightmare. especially if the gift is for a family member who lives miles away who you see infrequently.

Last Christmas I got my family essentially gift baskets I made up of snacks from around the world (china, japan, Thailand, america, Australia etc). It was a really fun idea.

Yeah, I'm going into my final year of university and so have a lot going on (dissertation, exams, coursework etc) so I ideally like to get most of the thinking out of the way by around the same time. The thing with my older brother (the grumpy one) is he is a complete workaholic and doesn't really seem to have any…

Considering the amount of absolutely ludicrous and health and weight loss claims I'm constantly hearing people come out with and believing ...yes I think it should be compulsory. It's clear when people believe drinking green tea will make them skinny that their education has failed them....that or their intelligence.

She said in her other thread (about reverse dieting) a bunch of nonsense about starvation mode and metabolism change. She then posted a study on rats to "prove" her stance, but clearly didn't read it herself as it contradicted her. She is now saying her nutritionist friend is laughing at us...calling bollocks on that. I…

There should be a search bar.

Maintenance level is your TDEE (google TDEE calculator). If you're hungry on your calorie goals you're either not eating enough or should switch up your macros. The types of foods you're eating may just not be filling you up/ not satiating.
-
You have wildly misinterpreted the results and even contradicted yourself in your own post.
