  • Would it be the same if using the rice cooker? I'll try later today but just to make sure
  • Thank you fuys for the help ;) I decided now to cook half a cup of brown rice on the rice cooker since I don't really like microwaving food. Any tips on how much water to use? the rice is not that much, so I can't to use the finger technique shown on the video posted above and the instructions on the rice cooker are very…
  • Good idea, but I also just learning to cook. How would I reheat the leftover rice?
  • Really? All this guy is trying to do is wanting to understand why people eat so little and help them with their diets. I don't understand why the many rude comments

  • Reaching carbs is not very important (as long as you are not eating too few of them either IMO). Focus instead in reaching more or less the total calorie amount shown if your only goal is to lose fat. About sodium intake, I am not really sure how much of it you should consume daily. I read in an article that the…
  • In my opinion, it is a good idea to eat some extra protein if you are thinking about losing weight. I can't recommend you any protein bars (I don't like them) but just remember that there are many other good sources of protein! If you go back to the nutrition section, there is a thread in which some us discussed good…
  • Thanks guys for the help. I can't remember correctly, I just read somewhere that ham is bad because of the way it is made or because of the chemicals it has or something like that. I read it somewhere online, it is just one of those things you read once, believe it, and then you keep wodering if it was true or not
  • What he means is that many people believe that eating very low calories is the same as eating a good diet. What they are doing instead is getting at risk of some disease because many people what tend to do is lower their food intake by huge amounts.

  • The problem is that when people want to lose weight they simply eat less. Most of the time eating less means eating almost nothing for many people. For instance, I used to get fat a lot of times in the past and when I wanted to lose weight what I would usually do was to eat very few amounts of food during the day. Food I…

  • Could someone answer this question? I love ham but I read sorwhere, can't remember where, that ham is not really healthy
  • That's a good protein/fat ratio!
  • Please don't call me ignorant but I didn't know that coffee was calorie free... I guess that's why my Nescafe coffee didn't have a nutrition label on it haha; I love coffee! Would adding stervia to it make it taste good? I need to try it
  • Guys, what is your opinion in those cooked ham slices they sell at supermarkets like Walmart? Are they healthy? I see they are a bit high in sodium IMO but I am not sure how "healthy" ham is simce it is high in protein and not a very mentioned food
  • I drink just water almost daily but now and then I like drinking a low/no calorie drink. What I usually do is go the store and just buy any randomly. Most of the time the drinks have great flavors! I forgot to mention that I love the aloe beverages. They are just delicious in my opinion
  • Beef jerky is high in protein and low in fat/carbs. Well, it is just meat. The main downside is that it is very expensive. There are also protein drinks that they sell at stores but they are also expensive.
  • What do you guys mean when you say that there is no "bad food," "eat in moderation"? Do you guys mean something like eating peanut butter daily in huge amounts, like 60 grams daily, could be bad? But then you say that if it fits your macros and if you eat it with moderation then it should be fine. What exactly is eating in…
  • Great protein sources with little fat and little carbs are not nanaturally abundant. The very few that I know of are chicken breast, milk (0% variation, or skim), and of course whey protein. There is another version of whey protein called Whey Isolate that has even less carbs!
  • Bad form can cause wrist injuries. You coukd watch some Youtube instructional videos just to make sure you are doing the presses correctly
  • In order to lose weight, you must eat LESS CALORIES. It is NOT necessary to eat less carbs. For instance, let's say that you track your calories very well on this app and they turn out to be, let's say, 2,800 calories by the end of the day. You keep eating about the same amount every day and you notice that your weight…
  • I think you cannot re-edit any entered values of the foods you enter. I always type in the numbers for the values then double check before saving. But if there is a way to edit the entries, I would like to know it too
  • I did eat it on the way home... haha. I logged it in as two portions though. Thank you for your help
