I can't eat within 2 hours of a decent intensity workout, even a small snack within an hour before makes me feel sick and like I have a brick in my stomach

This has happened to me a few times and has meant it's time for new shoes. I don't get it now I rotate 4 pairs

I once cried because I couldn't French plait my own hair. Yeah, hormones

Thanks for the replies everyone! I'll try to continue as I have and just listen to my body :) rybo - to answer your question I currently run home from work - have been working up to a 5 mile route but the shortest route I can do is just over 3 miles so I was planning to do the short route mon-fri & add in a Saturday longer…

I'm not a particularly fast runner so it's more for fun. I do run about 20-25 miles a week at the moment so I'm not starting from scratch but will obviously need to increase my mileage pretty significantly

This happens way more often than it should to me, only when running outside. I must have perpetual resting b-face as I never get hit on or checked out in 'normal' life (that I notice), only ever when running so it has literally nothing to do with how you carry yourself. It's harassment, simple. I once had a lit cigarette…

I recently cut out caffeine and it took a few weeks but it's definitely improved my sleep quality

I suffer from IBS & struggle to run with anything in my stomach. On my marathon morning I woke up at 5am to have some oats then went back to bed then had half a naked smoothie on my way to the start line. During the run I just had electrolytes in water, I found I didn't need anything else

Does the leg press cause you any pain? Or leg extension machine? Both will target your quads

Running - 26.2 miles Walking - 51 miles Distances I'm in no rush to complete again

Me too! Luckily my gym is close to my office so I work out during my lunch break

I swear by USA Pro. They're made of thick fabric so don't go see through when you bend over, are high waisted so they're flattering & don't fall down when I'm running, reasonably priced in the UK & they come in loads of pretty patterns and colours

Really? Where abouts...?

I'm on day 5 of 90 of keto, I've done it in the past & had really good results! I'm also cutting out alcohol for 90 days

Thank you, I was pretty happy with my most recent deadlift PB :). No plans to compete at the moment but never say never! My immediate goal is a 90kg squat, struggling with my squats recently but I'll get there
-
I'm 30, 145lbs, I've been strength training for around 2 years now; According to the calculator, I am currently: Squat: stronger than 61% of lifters in my division with a 1.21x bodyweight squat - Intermediate Bench: stronger than 60% of lifters in my division with a 0.76 bodyweight bench - Intermediate Dead: stronger than…

If it hurts, rest it. You'll only do more damage if you run on it while it's healing. Depending how bad the pain it might be worth seeing a medical professional. Maybe do some low impact cardio like swimming or cycling in the meantime

10 miles when I was marathon training a couple of years ago, which took me 1hr26mins & burned approx. 1100 cals

It's the NHS. The policy where I live is to phone them at 8am for a phone consultation that day where they decide, over the phone, if you need an appointment. The appointment must be scheduled that same day, which isn't always convenient when you work full time, and it's pot luck which GP you end up seeing. With something…

I think I've suffered with it - self diagnosed as my GP leaves a lot to be desired. When I increased my running distances or frequency the front of my right shin burned when I ran then I had a painful lump that moved and kind of 'popped' when I flexed it or leaned forward. This would last for days after running. The only…

You can get a foam pad that wraps around the bar (if you're in a gym they should provide them) but I find them too thick so I wrap a small gym towel around it
-
I use myprotein whey powder - natural chocolate tastes incredible and it doesn't bloat me. You can get it online and I find it cheaper than the ones you can get on the high street
