I take probiotics daily and it, along with changes in my diet, has really helped with IBS symptoms and acid reflux. I've always had a really sensitive stomach and I found that probiotics have made one of the biggest differences. Fermented foods are also a great source of probiotics.

However I had a lot of trouble with this when I first went vegan as I was eating way more fibre than I had been before I went vegan, since I was eating more beans and stuff that I didn't eat very often before. My favourite lately is 1 scoop vega choc protein (or any chocolate protein) 2 tbs tahini 1 tbsp cacao 1 banana 1 c rice milk (or whatever milk or milk alternative) and sometimes add in some avocado!

Beans and legumes are great! I haven't heard many people having problems digesting beans. Some people have soy allergies, in which case soy would be bad for them. Some people are wary of soy because of the phytoestrogens that it contains; however there is no threat of harm from soy. I believe that people would be "at risk"…
