  • My oh my how September flew by! Enjoy football, Ryder Cup or whatever turns youi on this weekend!
  • Yesterday at my WI the WW staff member told me I had lost a “Sara”. She said I have lost exactly what she weighs! (139#) Now in 2012, before I joined WW, if someone with a crystal ball told me “Jim, you are going to lose 139 pounds!” I would have been thrilled. I had always wondered if I could ever be able to lose 100…
  • Well our youngest son gave me "The Talk" at Thanksgiving 2012, that got me to join WW in Jan 2013. His words were my "Aha Moment" that changed how I looked at what I was doing to myself and to my family at 376 pounds! DW then told me to try WW "one more time" after I told her I was scared to go through with WL surgery. She…
  • Took me a minute to decipher SV LoL. WTG! I had one too. Last week my post knee operation WI was +5.8. Yesterday I was down 6# so I know it was just fluid from the anesthetic. Now need to lose the 6# I gained after getting to my all time low of 233. I was so close to 220s then Wham up 6#. Funny how that happens!!

  • Here and it's FALL ! WTH?
  • I'm old (68) and can't remember how many times I was "on Weight Watchers" and it worked but when I went off WW plan I gained it all back plus more. This is the first time in my life I can truly tell myself and others that I have "changed my lifestyle". Granted it has been since Jan 2013 and I'm still trying to lose weight…
  • Honey Crisp is my favorite and I have never heard of Zestar. I will go to Whole Food to see if they have it. @Calvin2008Brian What part of the country are you in? I'm in VA and wonder if Zestar is "regional" only?
  • Pouches of Uncle Ben's 90 seconds MW rice Cans of water chestnuts (I add these to my "Go To" chicken & broccoli dinner. Canned veggies that I like: (zucchini w/ tomato sauce, black beans, soups.) REAL Peanut Butter Old jar of that PB2 carp, it never really tasted like PB to me. DW has a stash of Fiber One cookies; I…
  • I book a flight out of Funkytown.
  • Good phrasing. My WI a week ago today was a HUGE -5# ! I will find out TODAY if I used it as a "License to Kill" my success. I did go off a little on a road trip with grandson to Redskins training camp. I had a SMALL milk shake at Chic filet>>>>>>28 SPs! I usually DO NOT celebrate a weight loss with food, it makes no sense…
  • Congrats! Great seeing success in others it keeps me motivated to continue my WL Journey.

  • Here before I go to water aerobics!
  • I'm learning on here but I miss some things too, Like Personal Stats below User Name, setting up the number of past days I want to see displayed, minor points that I'm sure are compensated for by other features LIKE EDIT!!
  • Congrats to you two Losers!
  • I (199N15) "forgot" to post my efforts this week, but I Did NOT die. BTW/FYI: my "clever" Username was to motivate me to get to (199# in 2015), didn't make it but I can at least see 199 from where I am now... 236.
  • Here I updated my user name b/c there was another Jim376, go figure!
  • I lost 100#+ on PP and then coasted losing 16# in 2015. When SP started I rebooted 1/16, gave myself a big KITA and have lost 32# in 31 weeks. I plan to stick with what's working and explore the MFP App as I get more familiar with it. I really enjoy my WW Mtg Ldr, the Thursday AM meeting group, facing the metal monster…
  • That losing weight is "simple"... less calories in than calories used...but that does NOT mean it is easy. (Shendler finally beat that into my thick skull.) If you sorta work the Plan, then the Plan sorta works. If the Plan is not working for you then you are probably not "doing EVERYTHING" right. Measure, measure,…
  • "...give me encouragement and advice to get me back to who I want to be. My health has come a long way with lowered meds. In no Way do I want to be the person I use to be..." Welcome to GoaD, it's not easy getting what we say we "want" but if you REALLY want something YOU have to work for it. We can encourage you but you…

  • I was SHOCKED to see a -5# at my WI❗️I got my next 5# sticker, now have 28 X 5 = -140! Down into 230s bound and determined to get below 200...sometime.
  • I mentioned us on WW Connect. There was a guy there who posted he wanted a group of fit older guys to chat with. There is a hashtag for wwbros on Connect if you want to reach out to them , also a #wwsisters
  • I've been on WW THIS TIME since 2013, and I plan to stay with the program for my lifetime. The reasons: -Weekly WI make me accountable -Paying $ makes me USE the programs -Every time I lost weight on WW I gained it back when I quit going to WW meetings. -I'm 68 yo, not a techy, but I know that CHANGE is constant. I will…
  • I went to a Greek Fest and bought a bunch of goodies like baklava but took them home for DW. I got myself a gyro. looked up SPs and enjoyed it.
  • I looked at volunteering for LTL as a way to actively participate in my own WL journey. It forced me to THINK about what I was doing, how I was doing it and learn how others do it. The daily threads are always different and usually provide good info or just a fun exchange of ideas. I really like the format of rotating…
  • Still learning. I had to get a new phone after going swimming with my phone in my pocket. Grrrrr
