I have seen a couple of posts like that, but I tend to ignore them. I'd rather hear from people who've struggled and got through it instead of from people who found the whole thing a walk in the park. I find the "I'm full on 900 calories, what should I do?!" or the "I'm eating so much but still losing weight, what's going…

Yes. TO THE EXACT 0.1 OF A GRAM. Or else FAILURE! :D

On the app? Go to progress. It's on the bottom right side.

I was watching a video on YouTube about dark chocolate and they said it tends to have more fat in it than other types. Could that account for the calorie difference?

I don't think it has a key. It's a timer lock.

You could add other berries to it as well.

What about meringues made with sweetener (is that allowed?) crushed up and layered with lightly sweetened fat free Greek yogurt & vanilla extract, and strawberries macerated in a touch more sweetener and a splash of balsamic vinegar. Like an Eton mess.

It doesn't need to be exact, but you want to eat as close to your allowance as possible. Sometimes you'll be a few calories under and sometimes a few over but it'll average out over the week.

I snort laughed at "squeezing a cola nut".

I have always preferred diet drinks over the full fat ones. The sugar in the normal stuff makes my mouth and throat feel sticky.

I like chocolate too much to ever cut it out. Sometimes exercising portion control is hard - though I tend to think of portion control as what will fit into my calories rather than the label serving size. 25g chocolate? No. Make it 70g. - but I would find it harder to avoid it completely. That said, I cannot have large…

The more the merrier. Feel free to add. :)

I've made 2 ingredient cake before, it's nice. The difference between that and bakery cake is a hundred or so calories for the cake and a few hundred for an excessive amount of over sweet frosting. If I wanted that, I'd buy it.

Why? The box mix and soda thing works fine. Unless you really hate box mix. I have a love affair with Betty Crocker.

I made frappuccinos at home for a while. I think I used about a half cup of STRONG coffee, half a cup of milk, plenty of ice and flavoured syrups. Use the sugar free ones. Blend for about 30 seconds. Iced coffee goodness.

I am confused. Are you saying people who exercise and maintain a normal/healthy weight don't need to concern themselves with counting calories? Or that you can't be fit unless you're a healthy weight? Maybe I'm being dumb but I don't really get the point you're making.

I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but "dark chocolate" isn't really a thing in so much that companies can label something as dark chocolate despite it having a relatively low cocoa percentage. It needs to be 70% cocoa at a minimum, but 85-90% and even 95-100% is best.

Where on earth do you live?!

If you're actually a new mother and this isn't some weird troll post - your baby is 2 weeks old. Focus on him instead of an arbitrary number on the scales.

You can pre-log your meals, but that's about it. I pre-log a day or two in advance and then make changes as and when I need to.

Being from the UK, pumpkin spice isn't a big thing here. But I manage to get a few bits from Amazon, like pumpkin spice coffee syrup, M&Ms and Hershey's kisses. They're kind of expensive though. A bag of the M&Ms can go for £3-ish at the cheapest time, up to £8-9. There's someone on Amazon trying to sell them for almost…

I paid for it for a month, just because I hate the ads. I don't use many of the other features though. I don't think it's good enough to warrant a monthly or yearly subscription though. It should be a couple bucks in the App Store and that's it.

I ended up swapping the soup for some blueberry & acai dark chocolate and fruit flavoured chewy candy. That still kinda counts, right?! Lol.

Pumpkin spice Hershey's kisses are the best.

I'm having carrots, onions and tomatoes with dinner. Lunch is going to be canned soup which has some veggies - like tomatoes, swede, parsnip, leeks, onion, red pepper, spinach and chickpeas - but not in large quantities. Still, it all helps. Oh, and a small jar of mini pickles. I have a couple of apples set aside for a…

I use 50g oats, 20g chia seeds and 200ml milk to make mine. Then I add either honey, Nutella or peanut butter/PB2 and some fruit.

I like diet sodas. Even the store brand kind. The regular stuff makes my mouth and throat feel... sticky, I guess? I dunno. I'm one of the people that will order a Diet Coke with a Big Mac and large fries.

Did MFP give you 1200 calories, or did you set it to 1200? If the former, switch your loss to 1lb a week. If the latter, eat what MFP recommends.

I get my eggs from someone who has their own chickens, so they don't come in certain sizes as standard and there's no nutritional label to go by, so I think the 100g/140 calories thing will work the easiest.
