Make room for the things you absolutely love. Get rid of that guilt and shame. Often when we go out with friends it's because we are celebrating something. Having a healthy relationship with food is going to be more sustainable than any diet. And there is nothing wrong with a little celebration. Do you love fried chicken?…

Don't worry about speed right now. Just keep increasing your time running. You aren't a failure. Once you increase your endurance you can add in some speed workouts. Keep going!

I did an Ironman in 2013 and would love to do another or more in a couple of years. Right now we are focused on trying to get pregnant. I'm 40 so it's been a little harder than I thought it would be! So training for an Ironman is possible but with everything up in the air those plans could change monthly. I have some tests…

Are you on Instagram? If so check out @moveu_official and they have several scapular exercises to try. I love these guys!
-
Technically you aren't going anywhere.
-
I'd like to have no butt.

Check back again after about 4-6 weeks. You'll most likely see changes with your body and your fitness. One week isn't long enough.

I'm a big advocate of getting rid of the guilt/shame cycle when eating. Over the past few months I've really been thinking about making room to eat the things I love instead eliminating everything and then feeling guilty for eating something "bad". I have to think about why I love, can't live without it with a type of…

I'm sitting nodding my head yes! Sounds just like my ankle. I'm two years out. I do worry about arthritis in the future, my doctor said that's a possibility.but other than that I'm good to go

Deiends. During the school year I workout in the evening. During summer break I still tend toward evening but have more opportunities to workout in the morning.
-
I'm glad you went! When you mentioned the swelling in your leg my mind went immediately to DVT. I had a DVT due to ankle surgery and I didn't know it until it got pretty bad, it was scary!
-
Same! My ankle still gets stiff in the morning but after walking around it's fine. I have a bit of trouble running up inclines because of the lack of ROM, but no pain. You are right, it takes time and patience!
-
It took me a over year to start running after my ankle break. I also did physical therapy for a year to get my range of motion back. Is that possible for you to go back to physical therapy?
-
Gahhhhh! Always commando! Always!
-
With a sudden onset of swelling, I would be worried about DVT. Go to the doctor.

2 years ago I broke my ankle and I am now the proud owner of a plate and 8 screws. It took me over a year to start running again. Lots of PT and patience helped. Once I was cleared to walk that was my focus. I walked the dog all the time, did a series of 5ks (all walking) to improve my time for each one. It was tough, but…

It's part of my life. Some days I don't want to workout,m and I have no motivation, but I do it anyway. It's just a habit.

Just six asparagus? I think counting the amount of asparagus you are eating is silly. It's a vegetable, a good one at that. Eat them, enjoy them, don't count them. It just seems sad that you would limit yourself like that. Limit for other foods, that aren't great for you, I totally understand. But eat all the veggies!

I love tabatas!

It took me a year to run after I broke my ankle. I started weight bearing 9 weeks after I broke it. I started with crutches, then a cane and then walking with just the boot and then nothing. I limped for months and was in PT for a year. Totally different injury, but it takes time.
-
I just broke one. I agree. Rest, heal. Be patient!

I often avoid kettle bell swings. Even though I feel Like I've been coached properly, I just think it could be a recipe for disaster. I just do kettle bell straight leg deadlifts instead. Swings aren't worth it to me to have an injured back. Hope you feel better soon!
-
My advice: rest, heal. When you are better you can focus on working out. I was cleared to do a bit of swimming and aqua walking/jogging (with a belt) about three weeks after ORIF ankle surgery. But mostly those visits to the pool were just opportunities to move a bit and get out of the house, my focus was not a workout.…

Did the doctor suggest physical therapy?
-
Were you refrrred to a physical therapist? I would start there. And if the DR said it might be fractured, I wouldn't do anything.
-
Take a few days of and then reassess.
-
I don't like the advice. But will challenge you on the "TRX is stupid". You can use the TRX for so many things, strength, stretch, balance! It's awesome!
-
Make sure your bike is set up properly. Ask the instructor to help you.

What is a water infection?

I guess the questions should be, how long or what distance are you going when you run? 2 miles, 13? Then my answer might change. How much time are you spending lifting weights? 30 minutes? 2 hours? Then my answer might change.
