I do all of the above which really helps. I also do not bring my debit card or money with me, so that I cannot go out and purchase foods not on my plan. I only consume what I pack and bring with me. If I eat it all by 10 am, then I have to make it until I get home.

It's not that fasting times may or may not be a farce. It's that eating late doesn't cause weight gain. It's not recommended because it interrupts your sleep. If you sleep fine, eat on. This is my approach too. I buy the groceries and plan our meals, although he does the grilling. Sometimes we have different side items, sometimes not. I do not make 2 separate meals and ask him to at least try some of my healthier eating. He goes out to lunch nearly every day, and that is his time to eat whatever he wants.…

I am not native to Ohio either. I have lived in Cincinnati since 2011 with my bf (my beloved dog Oreo and our cat Finn). I am always looking out for new friends and walking buddies. I work downtown and can often be found walking to the library at lunchtime. :)
