Does the amount of carbs consumed really matter for weight loss? If someone ate 1200 calories of mostly carbs, would they still be able to lose weight?

I have the same issue, and have found that having a protein heavy shake(50+ grams) for breakfast helps to set my day off right. Carbs are a huge binge trigger for me, so I tend to avoid them until lunch or dinner.

Finally getting out of the 150's,I will be so excited the day I see 149 on the scale :D

Chocolate. As is chocolate bars, m&m candies,chocolate chip cookies, etc. I cannot have those in the house at all! My substitution I guess would be my protein powders. It's a way to kind of have the chocolate taste while still being healthy :D
