  • Why don't you just save the fried pickles for a free day?? My husband and I have one free day per week where we eat what we want. Obviously don't go overboard but by having a free day you can have things you enjoy that you wouldn't usually eat on non free days.
  • I have depression, and severe anxiety topped with post pardon depression. It might sound crazy but I have never been one for taking meds, I had a counselor back when I was in my teens that pretty much just wanted to drug all my problems away and had me on 5 different meds for a total of two conditions at the time. Needless…
  • Elisa123gal, that is exactly what I am going to do!!
  • This is my second round of losing weight, I dropped 30 pounds in three months before becoming pregnant with my son a couple years ago with MFP. I gained 80 pounds during my pregnancy which sucked and that is now what I am trying to take off plus a little extra lol. I've set date goals because by doing so it helps to keep…
  • Yeah, that's actually not true pdm3547, anytime you eat under the calories needed to maintain your current weight, your body pulls from your fat stores to ensure it gets the calories it needs for the day, therefore causing weight loss. Also, your not going to under record you calories eaten if your logging exactly what you…
  • So that I am always keeping my metabolism up, the more small meals you eat throughout the day the better you keep your metabolism functioning. Your supposed to eat every two to three hours to keep your metabolism up.
  • Snickerscharlie I am at the big round circle on the chart you posted, I excercise, stick to my calorie intake, and I just had a checkup last week and all looks well. I'm just going to chop it up to water weight or that I'm just starting to lose slower.....and that's ok, I knew that would happen eventually. Just wanted to…
  • I divide my food so that I am eating 6 different times throughout the day
  • That's true, I kinda forget about that!!
  • Well I have actually lost a total of 42 pounds in 18 weeks, my current profile is a new one because my other one started having issues so I had to make a new one just a few weeks ago. I have been averaging a two pound weight loss a week not taking into consideration the stall I had for about 5 weeks in June...I am going at…
  • Well I will try to be patient and hope that it is merely water weight, or that I'm just not showing any weight loss from this week yet lol, I will keep my fingers crossed that I will hopefully see some difference in another week or so ;)
  • The last time I stalled, I gave it time and ended up stalling for almost a month and a half, i have a goal date that I'm trying to reach so I am trying to nip this stall in the butt before it drags out like it did last time.
  • I have quit before for over a year, but that was during my pregnancy and I gained 80 pounds lol that sucked. Hoping that my weight loss will continue depsite the lack of nicotine ;)
  • I was planning on starting to train for a 5k this fall so I'm hoping that will help speed up my metabolism and keep it working hard if not harder
  • Try eating your pre workout snack about 30 mins before your workout with like 10 oz of water, I've been there myself and that's what helped me immensely
  • I am looking forward to getting to my weight so that I can cross bungie jumping off my bucket list, and I'd also like to get back into dirt biking!!!!
  • It is possible to have flactuations like that, I've had a 6 pound flactuation before within a 24 hour period, but I would really look at your sodium in take, I always stay under the 2300 mg per day because I've had blood pressure issues for the last almost two years. If it continues after changing up your sodium in take…
  • If I could make a suggestion ;) I hit a plateau about three weeks ago when I was eating between 1450 and 1500 per day, I then went to my goals and changed it to maintain my weight which showed me a total of 2300 calories needing to be eaten every day to stay the weight I was at, so I slashed 1000 calories off of that and…
  • Chunky all the way!!!!
  • Do you always have your scale on the floor?? I have mine up against my bathroom wall because my bathroom is to small to have it flat on the floor all the time lol so mine takes several weigh ins to properly recalibrate or else I receive all types of weights. I would suggest maybe just getting a new scale, even if the…
  • Yeah lol that's what I was reading a few days ago, someone ate a pickle when they needed to get past a craving since they are a negative calorie food.

  • I'm going to try hard to not put the cart before the horse lol I guess I will just watch the scale a little more and try hard to make sure I'm not gaining lol and if I find that I am, well I guess I will start 5k training alittle earlier then I planned lol

  • I have read that people who watch their weight by tracking and exercising continue with that lifestyle and still gain weight when they quit, that's what scares me the most....

  • Thanks for your reply, I just can't stomach the thought of back tracking lol
