Still recovering from 2 days of excess! I forced myself to exercise today. Did 26 minutes of body resistance, then 10 minutes of HIIT, and finished with 25 minutes of yoga for 61 minutes total. I had 3 smoothies today; just couldn't face anymore food. Hope to feel better tomorrow. Hope you all are having a fantastic…

I'm overdosing on rich food and cocktails. So much fun, but so tired! Talk to you tomorrow!

Just a quick check in to tell you about my dinner last night. My daughters totally took me by surprise last night by preparing a course for every decade. Yes, a 6 course meal. It was incredible! We had gruyere carmelized onion tarts, crab cakes over watercress with lemon dressing, green goddess mint pea soup, seared shrimp…

Awesome results, Aliem! Job well done!

Rinde Day 39: Decided to work a little harder for the next couple of days with the hope that I won't gain too much weight after my celebrations. So today I did 51 minutes of aerobic dancing, 24 minutes of body resistance, and 6 minutes of yoga. Felt good and I'm not that tired after finishing. My protein was down yesterday…

Rinde Day 38: Cardio day. 40 minutes of jogging video, same as Monday followed by 8 minutes of 30 Day Fitness and 13 minutes of yoga for 61 minutes total. My younger daughter and her 2 children flew in from CT last night for my birthday celebrations. She brought lunch over today and oh my goodness, was it tasty! BLTs from…

Bummer! Try a low impact after 9. You'll get your workout in without disturbing your neighbors. @aliem

Rinde Day 37 Just finished my hour of exercise: 24 minutes body resistance, 18 minutes of HIIT, and 20 minutes of yoga. Felt good to bump up the HIIT from 10 to 18 minutes( last 2 minutes was a cool down so I skipped it). Still on track with my food. The end of the week should be challenging so I'm not expecting much…

Day 36: Back at it this morning. Finished a Jessica Smith 40 minute jogging video. To protect my knees and injured toe/foot I did it barefoot with my yoga mat doubled for cushioning. Seemed to do the trick as I'm not having any problems post workout. Following jog I cooled down for a few minutes before I did 6 minute 30…

Rest day for me on last day of challenge. My goal was either 6 or 7 days. Did 6 for 1 hour per day. Goal completed!

Day 35: knew as soon as I woke up this am that today was DEFINITELY gonna be a rest day. Wanted to sleep in but got up at 7 feeling quite tired. May do some yoga later on but for now, just taking it easy. Even scheduled housework is on hold. Sunday weigh in: 155.4 lbs down 2.6 lbs for the week and just over the halfway…

Day 6: 1 hour goal 10 minutes HIIT, 23 minutes body resistance, and 30 of yoga
-
Day 34: Felt somewhat fatigued and a little stiff this am. Debated whether to take a rest day but finally got in gear and cranked out another workout for 63 minutes total. Did 10 minutes HIIT and moved right into body resistance for 23 minutes. Took a water break and finished up with 1/2 hour of yoga. Hopefully, I'll be…

Looks like we got off easy. Coastal winds pushed storm west of us. Debris down from trees and 2 people I know have trees down on their properties but no damage for me. Yay!

Rinde Day 33 First off, winds are picking up as Hermione heads our way. We've had bands of rain since last night, but hopefully things won't get too crazy this afternoon as storm approaches. Second item, I have 1 week to go to a very big birthday. How big? Well, my daughters are 37 and 35, to give you a clue. Not much to…

@Saree1902 Wow! You're on fire! Awesome job!

Rinde Day 32! Today's hour was 3 sets of body resistance for 25 minutes and yoga for 35 minutes. Tomorrow I'm gonna kick it up a notch and try a YouTube 45 minute cardio workout instead of my usual 30. Should be fun! I have a new goal of completing a FitnessBlender 1000 calorie workout...not that it will actually be that…

Day 4 of challenge: 1 hour of exercise 25 minutes body resistance and 35 minutes yoga

Day 3: 30 minutes of cardio, 6 minutes of 30 Day Fitness Challenge, and 25 minutes of yoga

1 hour in the books: 30 minutes cardio, 6 minutes 30 Day Fitness Challenge, and 25 minutes yoga. Feels good to be done; I'm a little sore from yesterday's body resistance workout. Think I'll try to make a high protein dinner tonight with tofu, beans, quinoa, a Greek yogurt sauce, and veggies. Should be tasty, if I don't…

@michelleepotter Wonderful! Glad you enjoyed it. I just finished day 13, right after my cardio. Makes it harder for me.
-
Wonderful! Glad you like it. I just did mine right after my cardio and man, was I sweating.

Wow, Becs! Fantastic results! Way to go on whittling that waist down! You should be really proud of yourself. Yes, weight loss needs to be lowered the closer you get to goal weight. Good job to recognize it...I find it really difficult to do so. And thanks much for the encouragement! I really appreciate it! Phase 2 here we…

Bummer about the date, Becs. But a bad vibe before even meeting the guy is all you need to know. Good to go with your gut! Thanks for all the info about Whole30, Aliem. I enjoyed your post. You're gonna do great! Did a good job on my macros today. Up to 28% on the protein. And for all the fruit I eat, I was under my sugar…

Finished my hour already: 40 minutes of yoga and a 25 minute body resistance workout( trying to build my strength). I'm still on target with my eating. When I first started with MFP a month ago I struggled to get my 20% protein. Started to make a concerted effort last week for 20 to be my minimum and now I'm holding steady…

Day 2 of challenge: 25 minutes of body resistance training and 40 minutes of yoga

Why don't you start one?

Just posted around the same time as @aliem but somehow mine has disappeared into the nether world. So I'm starting over... Becs: Sounds like you're doing great with food and exercise, except for that nasty little triangle of death. Ouch! Hope it abates soon. I'm looking forward to end of the month as well....hope you meet…
