  • Bwahahahaha! You are awesome!
  • Weight watchers has a recipe for slow cooker turkey chili which is amazingly good! Even though I am not on that program anymore, it is the best for a nice fall evening watching the game and relaxing.....Ah Fall..... I also love making borscht, although this winter I am going to use golden beets so my kitchen doesn't look…
  • I think that, if used properly, phentermine is a great drug for temporary use. Just remember that it's only there to help. The vast majority of the effort still has to come from you and you have to carve out a new lifestyle. Your expectations might be a bit high and you may need to be a bit patient and just keep plugging…
  • I really like 1/2 cup 4% milkfat cottage cheese mixed in with 1/2 cup black beans, and a few cherry tomatoes. Sprinkle with a bit of dill or fresh chopped basil. Add a slice of toasted Martins Whole Wheat Potato bread. Good protein, low sugar, and the fat keeps me from noticing food until lunch.
  • I did 1.98 miles at lunch today. My Fitbit said I did 2.0, then when I got in the car...it changed to 1.98. Snarf! Oh well, I'm going to see how many total miles I can log in Sept. Yay!
  • I love this author!
  • #1: Stop ruining a good week with a mindless weekend! Vkr2q7 said the same thing above and this is going to be my big goal: To plan weekend meals and log food and exercise just like during the week. #2: Exercise at least 4 times per week for at least 30 minutes. #3: Significantly reduce carb intake. I'm not low carb crazy,…
  • With all that exercise, you could be hanging onto some water in your muscles as they try and mend from the unexpected use. Using muscles you don't normally use can cause them to be sore and puff up a bit. Give it another week and maybe ease up on how much you are exercising. I always gain/hold on to some water weight after…
  • That's so wonderful! Congratulations!
  • I like them a lot! I add a good size salad with lemon juice and Nature Seasoning for dressing, or at least a piece of fruit, because the portions are so small (to me).
  • Hi! I'm 43 and started with this app a week ago. It's really encouraging me to get off my fat *kitten* and move, so I am loving it so far! My goals are to lose weight and gain endurance. I am 5'7" and weight 194 right now, so I need/want to get down to the mid 150s or 140s. I was there 2 years ago, but then something…
  • Oh, the insomnia will go away within a couple of weeks. It did for me, but it was a tough couple of weeks and I took diphenhydramine almost every night for the first weeek. Once that sorted out, I found that I don't need as much sleep sober as I did when I tied one on.
  • I am the same way. I love my red, red wine and it hates me back in the form of flab. Life is unfair. I don't seem to be able to drink normally in that once I have opened a bottle....it will be gone. The big ones might take me 2 nights. I have had to cut it out completely. I have bought several flavors of MiO and other…
  • I'm the same way. Not a huge fan of bacon and eggs. A nice chowder full of chunks of fish and veggies? Now that I can wake up to!
  • One of my favourites is 4-6oz grilled chicken breast with 1/2 cup 4% milkfat cottage cheese and cherry tomatoes in a little separator box. Low carb, no need to heat, and awfully good. Sub chicken for 4oz flank steak is tasty too!
  • I'll cyber hit on you, taco cat! Oh....wait....the restraining order....rats. That and I'm a girl.
  • I'm in! How do we do this?
