Thank you for your replies. :) I'm sorry I probably should have included I know it is normal for the scale to fluctuate. I've done this before and lost 125 lbs. But the fact that I can't get a reading I trust has me spinning.

Hi @anaakhtar Motivation can be tough. Are you looking for someone who's going to keep you on track for the gym or just in general? I do a small workout at home because I haven't been able to muster up the commitment for a gym. It's called the 7 minute work out by Johnston and Johnston. Baby steps 😄

@Yarrum84 I felt your angst in your post and felt compelled to respond. Snacking is not my challenge; for me it is portion control. But I have some suggestions none-the-less. Try portioning out your meals so you are eating frequently through the day. And plan those snacks right in. Eat 5 or 6 times a day if you need too.…

I find I have a limited pallet when it comes to vegetables although not as much as your SO. I agree roasting makes a lot of things more tasty. I would try introducing new things in small quantities. For example if he likes carrots try roasting a mix of carrots and beets (get the mutli-coloured ones, they are nice) or…
