I forgot about volume eating, this makes so much sense! I feel like I need larger containers for my salads now. Any suggestions for large glass containers??

If I’m not too late, I would love to join you both!!

Same here! This is my third time tracking on MFP, but I know that if I did it before I can do it again. Here's to losing the quarantine weight! Looking for support buddies, feel free to add me as a friend!

I needed to see this! I am so disappointed in myself for regaining, but it helps to see that I'm not the only one.

When I found myself in the pantry, shoving handfuls of chocolate chips in my mouth and I realized I didn't feel great in the body I was in. It was 6 months before my 30th birthday, I got back on MFP and started up again!

Veggie burgers, a quick pasta, stir fry w rice, or tacos with canned beans, diced tomatoes and cheese are my go-to. I also try to always keep homemade soup in the freezer for a quick meal!

When I lost 10 lbs, one of my friends was first to notice. I didn't see much of a change, but I was happy that someone saw a difference so quickly!

38 lbs down is AMAZING!! You should be really proud of yourself! That is heartbreaking that someone said that to you, I am sorry you had to experience that. I had an unsupportive roommate while I was counting calories and I felt like she was trying to derail me with baking a lot of sweets. It was hard, but I got through…

When I was losing weight, I weighed myself every morning. Now that I'm in maintenance mode, I weigh myself once a month.

I've gained 5 lbs since the holidays, I'm back to my usual routine but the weight isn't coming off as easily as I thought it would. I'm hoping some of it is water weight and maybe the scale will look better next week!

I'm vegetarian and my bf isn't, we never run into any problems. We make dinner together a couple nights a week and he isn't picky, he'll eat anything! I do have a sweet tooth and no self control around chocolate so currently there's see's candy in his safe hahaha (this was my request!)

On Sundays when I'm prepping my lunches, I'll also prep a veggie soup or chili for the week for dinner. This week I roasted a spaghetti squash (so good and super low in calories!) for dinner a few nights this week. Other ideas: Black bean veggie burgers (you can prep these and freeze them, just reheat for dinner) Polenta…

I have a sweet tooth also, I mix unsweetened cocoa powder into nonfat greek yogurt and sweeten it with stevia. Low cal, high protein and very satisfying! I change it up by adding nuts or frozen berries.

I usually do different salads - edamame, avocado, baked tofu, kale, quinoa. Today I have a tofu scramble! This time of year I'm making big batches of soup on the weekends and taking those in for lunch for the week. I try to look for different lunch ideas on pinterest so I don't get bored!

Like what most people are saying - I looveee it in smoothies and yogurt. I got my parents into it too. I've made a spread with it and added a little liquid stevia and didn't mind it. I bought a huge tub of it at Sam's Club and it expired before I got to finish it! I think it's ok though..right??

That sounds delicious! I just made portobello mushroom sandwiches the other day and they turned out amazing! Here's the recipe I used: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/16408/portobello-sandwiches/

I had gym anxiety as well! I started to go really early in the morning, I felt more comfortable figuring out the machines on my own with less people there! You'll notice that everyone is there to focus on their own workout, and are not there to judge you. You got this!

You can only get stronger from here! I started with push ups on my knees too, there's no shame in that!

I read this book I Quit Sugar: Your Complete 8-Week Detox Program and Cookbook by Sarah Wilson and found it really interesting. Her theory is if you have enough fats in your diet, you won't crave sugar as much. I didn't realize how much 'hidden' sugar I was actually eating until I read this (ketchup, emergen-c packets,…

I've never heard of this! I'm checking it out now!

When my friend stopped eating dairy, her skin cleared up big time. We all noticed! It's different for everyone, but I don't think it hurts to give it a try!

I used to get up at 5:00 am and work out before work, but now that my commute is longer, this is harder for me. Now I go after work a few days a week and take workout classes on weekend mornings. I take walks on my break at work also. If you're able to walk during the middle of the day and be active on weekends that could…

Looks delicious!

I had a salad with avocado, garbanzo beans, chopped romaine lettuce, cherry tomatoes and a tiny bit of toasted sesame dressing, delicious!

I've tried making spaghetti sauce with TVP, do you hydrate yours first before putting it into the sauce? Or do you sprinkle it in dry and let it soak and cook?
-
So interesting! I will need to look into this!

I agree with the walking. Changing up your routine too much all at once can be a shock and hard to keep up. I would start with tracking your calories on here and going on walk a few times a week and build up. You can start with 15 minutes and then in a couple weeks go to 30 minutes. That's how I started to lose weight!

Botox works wonders too, it relaxed the muscles in my forehead slightly and I no longer get headaches! Life changing!
