Just pulled a big batch of old clothing out of storage -- stuff I couldn't pull past my knees or get over my head before. Not all of it looks great, but I can pull most of it on and some of it even looks decent as is. It's like rediscovering who I used to be. I am near (happy) tears.

Along with hummus, white bean dip or pea dip, etc. (I mash the pulses with salt, lemon juice, olive oil and herbs like mint w peas or rosemary w white beans, then keep in the fridge about a week or so).

Yes, would love to do this too! Pre-pregnancy weight is my next scale goal -- only 2 lbs away.

I've hit double digit weight loss (lbs) and single digit clothes size (us). And I can run 2 miles at 5mph, when it took me over 15 mins to run/walk a mile when I started. But I am still waiting to move my ring to my middle finger without it turning red.

I kind of found my way similarly -- sporadic working out post-baby with terrible food habits (I'm also petite) led to periodic weight gains instead of losses until I just couldn't stand it. I stumbled across mfp and feel much more in control of my weight loss. Good luck and feel free to add me.

I get this a lot! People asking me if I'm pregnant (I'm not) or telling me I look like an overweight celebrity or whatever else pops into their thoughtless heads. Once someone literally stopped me on the street to tell me I needed to "get it together" with my weight because I had a pretty face but was out of shape. Wtf.…

I just posted a couple of links I've found helpful. I'm just dipping my toe in as well, but have found helpful info at bodybuilding.com. There are lots of gifs and videos by trainers demonstrating proper form. I also want to read the books @RoseTheWarrior recommended. I've heard they are great places to start.

I make my first job just to get into the clothes. Then just to go to the gym itself. Then just to do the most minimal workout possible. Worst case scenario, I've logged a crummy workout. But usually I get into it midway through.

That you'd look almost as bad wearing things that are too big as you did wearing too tight things. I'm short and look like I'm playing dress up in my clothes, but I'm too far from goal to buy new pieces.

Pre-pregnancy weight is calling to me ... Just a little over 4 lbs away. Double digit weight loss in a little more than a lb. And I still want my grandmother's ring back on my middle finger without it turning into a radish.
