  • I just joined the group, I'll be 40 on the 28th. I'm from Idaho! Please add me
  • Challenge #3 I ate 4 green vegetables this week. They were kale, spinach, broccoli, and artichokes.
  • Challenge #2: Completed I chose Randonnee On Reunion, week 2. I chose this challenge in the spirit of this week's theme "Racing to the Pot of Gold." So that's what I did, I ran a St. Patrick's Day 10K yesterday. I also chose this challenge because I love to run, and the weather has been so beautiful here, it's a win-win!!!!
  • CHALLENGE #1: Completed I chose to do the 5K Frostbite Footrace from week 6's travel to Alaska. I chose this race again because I love to run, and today was a beautiful day to run with my daughter on the Snake River Canyon Rim Trail.
  • I will apologize for my absence in exercise minutes the latter part of this week. I was doing dishes the other night and broke a glass in my hand and sliced my finger. Spent 3 hours in the ER, needed 5 stitches, and a tetanus shot to boot :( Not that I can't exercise, I just haven't been able to hold any weights, and when…
  • CHALLENGE #3 I made a mango/peach ginger kale smoothie. We use ginger in a lot of our foods and I wanted to try it with a smoothie. It was very tasty and very healthy, 117 calories and other good stuff, PLUS ginger is good for nausea and upset tummies!!!
  • Challenge #3 Lighten the Load I went latte (less) for the entire week. I'm $20.00 richer and left out loads of sugar consumption. I think I'll start to limit myself to just 1 latte a week. We'll see how that works.
  • Finished Challenge #1: I chose THE 5K FROSTBITE FOOTRACE. Running is what I do, so this challenge was right up my alley. I ran 3.3 miles today.
  • Welcome @Loribh0126 Just did the cardio leg workout, it was fun and challenging. Now I need to go for a run and do my regular Monday cardio workout. It's spitting rain outside and rather windy, this should be fun. Have a great Monday everyone.
  • Challenge #3: 1. WHAT YOU TRIED: Quinoa 2. A SEPARATE SENTENCE ABOUT YOUR EXPERIENCE: I've been wanting to try quinoa for awhile and decided to make a chicken, kale, quinoa with a sun-dried tomato romesco sauce. It was very tasty and I did enjoy the quinoa. It's almost like eating rice that's somewhat crunchy and nutty.
  • @cocoajax16 Welcome to the team!!!!!!!
  • Good morning everyone. I've been very absent from posting in the team thread for the last 2 weeks. I was without my laptop and I find it long and painful to type on my cell phone ;) I did however stay current on reading all your posts, logging my minutes and finishing all the challenges. My apologies for my silence and I…

  • @BJerzy I would say to track those minutes. The challenge calls for intentional exercise minutes. You are using this time to be active and workout. I think it would be similar to a workout video, usually you have a rest between exercise, I wouldn't stop my timer for a rest. Time at the gym is time spent being active.…
  • I took a week break due to travel and a minor pain in my right foot (from all the walking around in flat snow boots during the travels.) I'm going to push real hard to finish January strong.
  • Another snow day for us here in Southern Idaho. Perk of being a teacher is that I get these days off with my daughter :) This makes our 7th one this year. Record breaking snow fall + wind, and definitely record breaking days off. I'll be running on the treadmill today for sure, I'm not keen on being swallowed by a snow…
  • 1. My name is Jen. I am married with two children. This is my first time doing this challenge :) 2. My favorite form of exercise is running, but I also enjoy strength training, playing softball, and golfing with my husband. 3. I currently live in Idaho, but was born and raised in Seattle, WA. 4. We really have it all here.…
  • Hello everyone!! I'm new to this challenge. It looks fun, I can't wait.

  • I'm getting back into running after injury in 2016. I'll take it slow for a couple of months. My goal is 45 miles for January. 1/2: 1.5 miles
  • @jenring3 I'm also looking at the Nanospikes. I live in Idaho and there is snow and packed ice 3-4 months during winter. My question for you is do they hug too tight around your shoe? I have a slightly wide foot mostly forefoot and wear size 10 running shoe. The chart shows to order a Medium. Thoughts or advice?
  • Hello, My name is Jen. I am new to this group, but not new to running. I started running in late 2014. I've ran 1 half marathon and loads of 5Ks and 10Ks. I suffered a couple of nagging injuries earlier this year, and gained a bit of weight in the meantime. I'm finally back to injury free and I'm excited to get back into…
