I think everyone has hit it pretty good. Body weight training, you don't need to necessarily walk further (yet) but throw in a few fast paces during your walk to turn up the intensity. I love my TRX straps you can really do a lot with them. HIIT is great, like I said, I think they have covered it all here!

Brother, first off, that is a 10 minute mile (6mph) not too shabby! Now keep in mind when running you should be able to hold a conversation, except for speed work outs of course. Once you can comfortably run your distance for two weeks, then you can up your distance but only by 10%. I am a bit older and my coach says…

Going out on a limb here, I have a feeling SHE notices the change and not within herself...Just my opinion! My coach used to bust my chops and tell me, you "didn't gain that much weight in 6 months, you aren't gonna lose it in 6 months" He was right. Its been a long road and sometimes the scale is not your best friend but…

not sure if it was mentioned, but the LED slap sticks are great. You can set them to blink or stay steady. I wear one on my outside ankle and one on my wrist. Also carry a small LED flashlight that I turn on when I see a car coming.

never cheat days, I get derailed to easy that way. 85% 15% rule.... as long as I am eating right, every 7th meal is a choice meal or goody! That way I am never craving anything...

Hello, I am Johnny, just ran across this group thought I would throw my name in the hat. I am in my late 40's so my miles are not that high but working on quality and not quantity. So thought I would reach out for some accountability partners. I typically run 3 runs, with one bike/run brick workout a week. So somewhere in…

I have always said "diets" don't work, its the lifestyle that does. My lifestyle went south... by about plus 40lbs, lol. Changed the lifestyle and am almost back on track.

New here, just saw this. Sorry had hand surgery the first week of the month and mix my rides with runs. However, will share what I have so far.

freaking hate them but I am in! New to this app so where would we post results to?

it really depends on what you are trying to achieve. Bulk up? Lean and Mean? lol, but cardio should be added to either :) Your heart is a muscle also and needs love too!

haven't used an actual tracker...have been using the mapmyfitness app and it has done pretty well for what I need it to do. For the activities that don't use GPS, you can manually add... As long as the GPS in your phone is good, it works pretty well.

slow down, your "stamina" runs should be easy runs (able to hold a conversation). You can do speed work via "intervals" and sprints to work on speed. Only increase you mileage once you can hold your current speed easy for 2 weeks and then only by 10%. I train for triathlons and they say to wait 2 days in between runs.…
